I could not say enough great things about this tour or our guide
I have wanted to go on an African safari since I was a small child. Wildlife Safaris made it affordable and fun. We saw all the Big 5 almost immediately upon entering Kruger National Park. We were astonished by guide Simon Taylor's depth of knowledge about the park and all its animals. He had a great knack for spotting wildlife, IDing birds, etc., and was able to provide details about everything from how they dehorn rhinos to why a secretary bird is called a secretary bird. The meals included as part of the trip were excellent, too.

Caring
We chose Jocky Tour because it was affordable. But we had a first class experience. Everyone was so attentive and helpful. This was especially true of our tour guide. John was knowledgeable and cared for our every need. I would love to repeat the experience

Well organized group Joining safari
We were in kenya for some work training and we decided to join a group since we didn’t want spend a lot of money, the communication and bookings with Wecam went really good and Mercy was able to meet us at our hotel on a very short notice to confirm the safari.
The whole trip was well organized though there were some delays on the start day but they explained it’s a group tour and guests are being picked from different locations.
Overall, the tour was good.

Incredible experience!
We decided to go on a 5 day safari with Jocky in December 2023 with my girlfriend. It was an amazing experience, the company took care of everything and we were well informed of everything before the tour. You can trust the description online.
Our guide Stanley was perfect, he had a very deep knowledge of the animals, nature and also his country, Kenya. Therefore I can assure you that you will learn a lot with him and he will take you to all the places to see the big 5 and many other wild animals.
We were very lucky with the weather and as December is low season there were not many tourists and this was perfect for the tour.
We highly recommend the 5 day Masai Mara, Nakuru and Naivasha safari as the price with Jocky is really affordable and the combination of these 3 parks/lakes allows you to see many different landscapes, animals and people.

Strongly recommend and have just a suggestion
If you want a detailed review, here it is.
We booked the Mikumi National Park 1-day safari from and back to Zanzibar.
We booked online via safari tours, and after submitting our request, we were contacted by Salimu via WhatsApp. He was always very fast in responding and helpful.
Our booking included pick up at the hotel we were staying, flight from Zanzibar to Mikumi, Game drive, lunch, flight back, and drop off at the hotel. We got everything that was agreed on.
Overall, I strongly recommend the experience. There are just a few details that could have been better.
The driver was supposed to pick us up at the hotel at 4.40 AM and when we walked out, he was already there waiting for us. Arriving to the airport, the driver walked with us to the meeting place (that we didn’t know about, but the driver did so we just followed him). There, we were “dropped off” at a café. Someone from the Salimu’s team came up to us, we checked our names on a list, paid by card, no problems.
We flew in a very small and quite old airplane for 13 people. I was extremely afraid BUT I must say that I am afraid of flying in small planes and a bit claustrophobic. The plane was extremely small, but I was positively surprised. Pilot did amazing. The landing is in the middle of the park and the game drivers are already there waiting. There are toilets in the air strip.
Our ride was with Patrick (guide). He was very nice, engaging on questions, and did a good job “searching” for our wishes.
We saw lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, impalas, hippos, crocodiles, monkeys, many different birds, everything.
Around 12 we stopped to eat lunch, and you can eat inside a facility or outside under some trees. There is also a few cottages in the same area, so again toilets and some infrastructure.
Lunch was delicious. Nothing to complain.
We drove a bit more and back to the airplane. We flew back in the same plane with the same pilot, again did a great job.
Zanzibar airport is quite chaotic, and the other people from the same tour had maybe different agreements or booked through different agents, but me and my husband were a bit lost on how to go back to the hotel. There was nobody from Salimu’s team to meet us and say “here it is your ride back to the hotel”.
We just found the taxi drivers that were waiting for passengers, so we decided to walk back to the Café that we met the Tour guys in the morning, or pick up a taxi by ourselves. At the Cafe, there was a lady that I asked about if there were anyone from Salimu’s team, or his agency. She said she would call him (she wasn’t very happy to help but did anyway) and quickly our driver came to find us, didn’t take more than 5 minutes. So, no problem coming home again.
Here is my only complaint/suggestion:
We felt a bit lost on how things would go because we had the feeling that the tourism agency would have someone to gather us and to give us direction when we landed. It might sound silly but it would give us more confidence and understanding of what is going on if we are informed before hand on how things unfold, instead of learning while they are happening.

It was a unique experience! Super complete safari with a very welcoming team
We were a group of 7 volunteers and did a full-day safari in Mikumi National Park. It was unique!
The whole experience went spectacularly well, Cosiano took care of everything, transport and lunch were included. Our tour guide was super friendly and shared a lot of information about the animals we were seeing during the safari. We loved it! And I would love to do the other safari trips they have on the other National Parks in Tanzania!
