Professional, Personalized, Fantastic African Travel
Sarah Morris at Ker Downey was extremely responsive from our very first inquiry regarding a Southernn African journey. She provided excellent service by promptly answering questions and concerns in emails and via phone calls ( in spite of the time difference).She was very willing to incorporate our own prearranged accommodations in Cape Town,Johannesburg and self arranged wine tastings with her recommended safari lodgings, tours and tour operators. She was very accommodating by staying within our budget and our preferred travel dates.
The lodgings she arranged in Zimbabwe,Botswana and Kruger,South Africa were all excellent. The staff, drivers/guides and trackers were courteous,welcoming, professional, personable,etc. We were always met at airports, drives,etc. on time with smiling drivers. All exceeded our expectations and enhanced our already over the top experience in Southern Africa. Finally, we enjoyed meeting Sarah at our Cape Town hotel for coffee and a chat!

We booked three safaris with Mufasa in Nariobi National Park, Amboseli National Park and the Maasai Mara. We couldn't be happier with the experience we had. When we were booking our trip, we spoke to Joseph. We asked many questions and he was always very friendly, helpful and quick to respond. The information he provided was very comprehensive, detailing every aspect of the trip. Our driver, Kephar was also really great: he was very friendly, experienced and knowledgeable about all aspects of the wildlife in the park. He went above and beyond in trying to give us the best experience possible. As a result we had a wonderful time and learned a lot about the amazing wildlife in Kenya. To top it off, Mufasa also gave us a lovely gift on our last day of Safari! If we come back to Kenya, then we will use Mufasa again and we would definitely recommend them to anyone else. The service we received was very professional and we couldn't complain about any aspect. As well as being professional, they are also really nice people.

4 Days safari
We were a group of 5 people and we did a 4 day and 3 night tent safari through Lake Manyara, Serengueti and Ngorongoro. We chose Claws of Africa after Fatuma was very friendly and kind. During safari everything went well. Our guide Dickson its was very friendly and did everything for us to see as many animals as possible. Also our cooker, Pascal, it was very nice and funny and did very delicious food.
I recommend "Claws of Africa" and also the camping experience for people that would like to have an experience closer to the wild life.

An amazing trip that still leaves me in wonder.

Safari of a Lifetime
We originally booked with Seven by Far for their flexibility and willingness to tailor the safari to our needs. We had planned this trip as a combination 50th birthday for my wife and our 30th wedding anniversary. We arranged an 11 day safari with an upgrade to a Land Cruiser and balloon ride at the Masai Mara. First of all, if you are going on any safari, book the land cruiser. We must have blown by dozens of minivans along the very rough roads like they were standing still which decreased the transit times between parks. We also watched as minivans tried to get up the other side of a creek or go through a rough section only to be turned around because they couldn't make it. Seven by Far vehicles were new and well maintained. Our guide (Hassan) was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I am a professional wildlife biologist and I still learned many things about the wildlife and ecosystems from Hassan. I specialize in ornithology and Hassan knew most of the birds we saw. For the very few he didn't know, I had more fun racing through my bird guidebook to see if I could figure out what we were looking before Hassan found it in his guidebook. I think we ended up about 50/50 in the end. We saw all of the Big 5 and Special 5 and so much more. Seven by Far went beyond all of our expectations. I would like to point out two specific examples. When booking our trip, I asked Sylvester if it was possible to do a wedding vow renewal at Amboseli at a Masai village and have the ceremony conducted in the traditional Masai customs. Sylvester arranged the ceremony with a nearby Masai village and we were blown away (Sylvester recorded a very small portion of the ceremony and it is posted on Seven by Far's Facebook page). The entire village participated in the ceremony and it is something we will never forget. Sylvester did not charge us anything extra for arranging the ceremony other than having us provide a gift of gratitude to the village elder. Secondly, we stayed at Diani Beach for a week after the safari. Sylvester helped us out with tickets for the high-speed train back to Nairobi, but the day before (a national holiday) the train tickets were taken back by the president of Kenya and his contingency so they could return to Nairobi. Sylvester contacted us to let us know we no longer had tickets on the train and assisted us in securing a flight back from Diani Beach to Nairobi and picked us up at the airport to take us back to our hotel. This all happened a week after our safari had ended. He even arranged for a ride back to the airport a few days later when we left for home. This is the kind of service you will get with Seven by Far. I've already forward Sylvester's contact information to several colleagues (also wildlife biologists) because of their level of service and expertise. Best vacation ever!!!!!

Amazing trip to Uganda, the Pearl of Africa, with Alex and Davis.
I found the information about Gorillas Homeland Safaris first on Facebook and after on their website. What I saw was enough to give me an idea of their seriousness as a company. The first contact with Davis was easy and he seemed to me to be a man I could trust. I never changed my mind after that, he is a great guy.
As my wife, Anne, and I are birders, I asked for a 23 days stay oriented on birding. Davis told me that Alex, the bird guide, was excellent. I can tell you now he was more than excellent. He knows the birds, the chips, the calls, the behavior and the habitats where to find them. He is absolutely exceptional when it comes time to spot birds or animals. It was my 6th trip to Africa and I met very good guides and Alex is at the top of them. I'm not kidding. And the man himself is also easy going. Always in a good mood, always willing to show you more and more things. We went to the main hotspots in the country and we tallied 483 different species of birds in 21 full days of birding.
The habitations were well located, near the NP or the interesting habitats, and the food was excellent everywhere. The vehicle used, a 4X4 with open roof, was fantastic inside the national parks. And Alex was also a very good driver.
The only problem we encountered during this trip was that we did not get our luggages at our arrival in Entebbe. As we have a very tight schedule, it was impossible for us to stay in Entebbe, waiting for our things. So Davis took care of all this and he delivered to us our luggage 2 days after when we were in a remote place, far from the airport. I can tell you that Davis made everything to ensure that our stay was at the best, every day.
I encourage any good birders and travellers to contact Davis for a memorable trip to Uganda. A trip memorable for the good reasons.

The best people to show you the Pearl of Africa
I went on an 11 day safari visiting Kampala, Jinja, Lake Mburo NP, Bwindi NP, Queen Elizabeth NP and Kibale NP.
Communications with Ngoni were prompt and easy from the start. As soon as I made my booking, Sedrick contacted me through WhatsApp and guided me through the rest of the process. Leading up to the tour he made sure I was well-prepared to begin. He was always very clear and friendly. Service was exceptional. I had the pleasure of going on this safari with three members of Ngoni's staff - Sedrick, Nelson and Joel. These guys made my comfort their priority from the moment we met. Whether it was checking if I was okay with the accommodations or making sure I always had a bottle of water, I always felt like I was being well taken care of. Nelson is an excellent guide. His knowledge about the flora and fauna of Uganda was extensive, always able to answer any questions I had and was eager to teach - it's obvious that he has a great love for his country and it's environment and is eager to share this love with his clients. My experience with Ngoni and Uganda surpassed all expectations I had. Absolutely amazing, and thanks to the guys at Ngoni it feels like a new home - can't wait to come back and visit. Gorilla trekking is an amazing experience which I recommend for anyone going to East Africa.
We had an unforgettable experience gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. We did a three day trek and we enjoyed every minute of it. Safari 2 Gorilla Tours was flawless and I really enjoyed working with them. Aaron made all the arrangements for us and he was a pleasure to work with. I would email him at all hours of the day and he responded promptly and pleasantly. He answered all of my questions and he went out of his way to help us make our gorilla trek a memorable experience. Martin was our guide and driver and he was a lot of fun to be with. His driving was perfect, he was flexible with our schedule and he too went out of his way to make sure we saw everything we wanted to see.
