Extremely professional touring company
We did a 6 night safari tour with Cross to Africa safaris that included Lake Manyara, Serengeti and the Ngorongoro crater. Stayed in 3 different properties that were all first class. Our guide was Abuu Shaban and he was outstanding and very knowledgeable. Everything that was done was top notch and on time. Lodging was great and food was very good. These guys really know what they are doing. Would love to do this again based upon this experience and would highly recommend Cross To Africa Safaris as the company to book your safari with.

Highly Recommend!
This was a great budget company to use. The planning from Nairobi was done so well and we were given everything we were promised plus more. Our guide Richard was a great guy who was easy to get along with, laid back and eager to make sure we had a good experience . In Masai Mara we were out on the main days game drive for 11 hours- it was beyond our expectation.The accommodation is very basic but it was clean, the beds were comfortable and we had hot showers wherever we went. The food is simple and similar every day but really tasty and great to experience local food. I would definitely recommend this company. Good value for money!
The trip of a lifetime!
Together with my partner we just got back from a safari with Shemeji in Tanzania.
It was our first, but definitely not last, safari adventure and it couldn't be better! All credit goes to Shemeji.
All communication before departure was well handled and everything was clearly explained to us.
We were picked up from Arusha by Edward, the best driver/animal spotter and Godson who makes the best pancakes ever! This guys looked after us, made sure we were happy and thanx to them our first safari was unforgettable.
Our trip was a 5 days camping safari. Sleeping in a tent was actually more fun than I thought, especially listing to the lions and hyenas. The washing facilities at campsites were basic, but honestly it didn't bother me at all. It was all part of our wild adventur.
We travelled through 4 national parks:
Tarangire, a mixture of landscape and lots of different animals, including leopard!
Manyara, we actually saw a lion on a tree! Ngorongoro, this place is magical at dawn! and to spot a rhino was amazing!!!
But if I had to choose my favourite it would have to be Serengeti! Those plains are out of this world. A place where your eyes can travel as far as the horizon without any interruption, just vast open plains. In our overconstructed world it really felt special. Add to that the wildlife, huge male lions lying right next to the road not being bothered by your presence, it's simply priceless.
Edward made sure to tick all animals on our spotting wishlist, the big 5, including a leopard on a tree devouring a zebra. Plus some extra, a cheetah with cubs, just born baby Impala still struggling on his feet some really cute owls, the list goes on...
When Shemeji asked me if our safari was as we've expected I said no, it was way better!
Going on a safari in Africa, especially for the first time, you might be a bit nervous, you want to make sure that the company you go with is reliable and that you will be in safe hands. We definitely got all that with Shemeji and much more in fact, we got a trip of our lifetime! At least until our next safari ;-)

BEYON EXPECTATION
Simply Perfect! Since the beginning (booking stage) the KPT has proven to be very professional, quick and clear in answering our thousands of questions and super available to also go the extra mile to help us booking shuttles and other experiences! They always kept in contact, making sure everything was going good during the safari and after when we left Kruger to reach Cape Town!
The Safari itself however is the main actori here! We had a ranger fully dedicated to us who really made the difference: professional, PASSIONATE and fun, he really made a big difference with all of his stories and warm manners! He gaves us the opportunity to fully explore, always witg a smile, the amazing Kruger Park and the Panorama Route!
We basically didn’t want to leave and we’ll never forget those memories!

Great tour!
Went on a 3 day safari, spending 1 day in Ngorongoro crater and 2 days in the Serengeti. We saw absolutely everything we wanted to! Our driver knew right where to go. The accommodations were great and we were well fed. Would definitely book with them again!

Nature and people of Madagascar
I’ve just spent only a few days in one of the most beautiful countries i’ve ever seen in my live.
A lot of uncontaminated lands in an incredible nature frame were the local population can still keep its traditions alive.
Very little roads connections makes some part of the country difficult to be reached so that the impact of modernity is kept far away. Endemic animals and plants within an incredible landscape make this country really unique and was for me a big concentration of nature and beauty overall.
We should do everything to protect countries like this from the economic speculation, insane modernity and mass tourism.

More than expected!
First of all we got a VIP treatment with the pickup on the airport and showing us the basics of Arusha. Starting the safari we got an amazing guide (Mandela) and the Chef (Chazz) was marvelous. Accomaditon was beyond expectations, since night 1 and 5 were in pretty nice hotels and during the safari, night 2 we got a room and hot water!.
