An experience I will never forget!
Fantastic experience that I will never forget
I had a limited window of time in Tanzania and needed a trip that started on a specific date, this tour provider was very flexible and really came through for me because they work together with other providers. I traveled solo and had a great time with my group! I chose to do a mix of camping and lodges which worked perfectly, I could have both experiences . We had a great cook who traveled with us and our driver gave me complete confidence even in challenging weather conditions. We saw so much, had great discussions and could really ask every question we had about the Masai visit. We were lucky of course, to get along ,and to see all that we hoped to see. But I have 2 other friends who used this tour provider separately and each one loved their safari!

Tanzania Roadside Expeditions was so helpful, communicative, and overall a great operator to use!
We used Tanzania Roadside Expeditions for our safari experience and they were fantastic. This was our first safari experience and I was nervous as I did not know what to expect, but this company truly took care of us and put any nerves at ease. We did a two-day safari in November, and it was a great time to go and a good length of trip for us. I was nervous going at this time of the year given it is "off-season", but it was actually perfect! The parks were not crowded at all and we still saw ALL of the Big Five animals, plus the weather ended up being great. It is the short rainy season, but this just meant that it would rain for less than 30 minutes once during the day, and we would just put the top cover onto the safari car during this time; it did not hinder the experience in the slightest. Two days was a great length for us as we did two different locations so one day we got to see Tarangire and the next we did Ngorongoro Crater; both of these places I highly recommended. We were coming from Dar es Salaam, so our package was tailored to include trips to and from the airports, our round-trip flights to the Northern Circuit and back, lodging and food, and our private tour. Paul was very communicative from the beginning and easy to contact for any and all questions that I had. As an American, we were not very used to doing a money-transfer for our payment, but it was safe and secure and went through without a hitch. Once we arrived, our guide was there to pick us up at the airport and he was so friendly and knowledgeable and we could not recommend a better tour company to use!

Excellent customer service and an excellent experience
Really great experience. The Masai Mara was amazing and also the Lake Nakuru. Saw all the big 5 which was incredible. Our driver and guide, Raymond, was fantastic. His spotting skills were second to none and due to his prompt response we saw a leopard which was a highlight

Amazing experience!
My husband and I booked a 5 day safari with Kubwa Five Safaris and had an excellent experience. From picking us up at the airport to dropping us off, everything was well planned out and well executed. The meals, excursions, accommodations, transportation, etc was all taken care of for us. It was so wonderful to be able to relax and fully take in the safari experience and not have to worry about the logistics, because there's a lot that goes into it! It was all very well organized. We had a well laid out itinerary emailed to us with all the info we needed prior to the trip. Communication was great, we were able to get all of our questions answered prior to the trip.
Our guide, Mukisa Silas, was wonderful. He truly made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. When we would go on an excursion he would always speak with whoever was in charge and make sure everything was good and that my husband and I were taken care of. It was like he was dropping his kids off at their first day of school and he wanted to make sure everything was good to go before leaving us! I ended up getting car sick on one of our drives (tip: bring Dramamine) and he was genuinely concerned about me and willing and ready to do anything to help me feel better. He drove slow the rest of the drive and I'm sure it took longer than planned to get to our destination, but it really did help me feel better.
He takes his job very seriously, and is committed to ensuring his clients have a trip to remember. It is very evident that he puts his heart into his job and doesn't just go through the motions. He really does care about the client and their experience.
I would absolutely recommend Kubwa Five Safaris to anyone. We have memories to last a lifetime!

Tanzania and Zanzibar
We had a wonderful trip to Tanzania combining the national parks of Nyerere and Ruaha and the beach on Zanzibar. Communication with Jess and Thea at Wayfarer was great and everything worked smoothly for us with flights and transfers all on time- even in the remote area of Ruaha.
Having done safaris in more popular areas we wanted the less frequented areas of Tanzania and weren’t disappointed. Mdonye old river camp in Ruaha is a distance from anywhere but you really do feel you have the park to yourselves- maybe spotting another vehicle from the camp is the only other vehicle you are likely to see- and great wildlife spotting- particularly lion and leopard.
Lake Manze in Nyerere a different area of habitat but again few other vehicles. Both camps are rustic but quite comfortable and both catered superbly for my wife’s gluten and dairy intolerance .
Breezes on Zanzibar was very good with superb staff service. Just great to chill out there after the safari week.
Wayfairer catered well for the type of trip we were looking to do
It was absolutely amazing!
Our experience was amazing from pickup to drop off. Our tour guide was Omary and he started the experience with such positive energy that I knew from the start it was going to be an enjoyable experience.
We saw the big 5, rhinos, elephants, lions, leopards, and buffaloes. Omary always made sure we got the best view so we could get amazing pictures. He provided us with the rich history of the Tanzania people, government, and culture as we travelled. Everything was well planned and we never had to guess about the itinerary. He was made us feel safe along the way as the roads could be quite challenging. While other tour groups received box lunches, all of our meals were catered with silverware and place settings. There were tons of beverages included as well. The food was well seasoned and delicious.
He responded to our needs along the way. This experience was definitely five stars hands down. I would give 10 stars if that was an option!

Lana was the BEST thing for our trip....would not have been the same without her.
Where to even start!!! I sent a message about one of the tours in Botswana and Vic falls. From there, Lana guided the rest of my journey. She was able to customize a few things when i needed to add days for safari and tour in Johannesburg. She was so prompt in responses on email, WhatsApp and the phone! So great!! The trip was seamless!
Seamless as I said above. Arrived in Johannesburg and everything else was taken care of. All transfers and hotel arrangements. Our trip included a one day stay in Johannesburg with a tour (highly recommend!). Then 2 day safari in Chobe and 2 days in Okavanago. Then we were off to Vic Falls and finally ending with 4 days in Capetown. Everything on the trip was incredible. The stays were impeccable, the people and service were amazing and so knowledgeable! We saw the big 4 (bc the Rhinos are in a sanctuary) and many many other aminals. All of the guides were in the know on everything and we were lucky in seeing all we wanted.
All in all, I will highly recommend them and was very pleased! (I have already shared my experience with personal friends and the information for others to use!!)

Amazing tour operator with great communication skills who provided us a memorable experience
We booked an excursion with Africa Rebound Safaris and it was a positive experience from beginning to end. Right from the start, our head of travel (Lilian) engaged with us to discuss our priorities for the adventure. She custom-tailored a package that fulfilled all of our requirements, at a reasonable price. They also assisted us with acquiring our visas, and made sure we wouldn't have any problems with immigration.
We then arrived to Kenya, without any issues and our journey began. We were matched with an awesome tour guide by the name of Martin.
Martin is a very knowledgeable and experienced person, who was able to answer virtually any questions we had related to wild animals, but also about the Kenyan culture and way of living. He is passionate about his work and tries to transmit that same passion to others. This gentleman made our safari experience so much nicer than I expected. Finally, the tour operator even arranged transport for us at the end of the safari, ensuring we made it bake safely to the airport.
I would like to sincerely thank Lilian, Martin, and all of the Africa Rebound Saffari team for providing us outstanding customer service and a memorable overall experience. I will recommend this operator to all friends and family who intend visit Africa.
Again thank you so much and all the best!

Overall great experience
We went to 2 days Mikumi and one day Udzungwa mountains and we really enjoyed it. Initially our itinerary was to do 1 day Mikumi and 2 days Neyrere but after the drive from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi took nearly 9 hours because of the traffic, we decided to change the plans and the operator was flexible. Communication was good, I guess the only area for improvement is to provide more precise communication a couple of days before the trip instead of the client reaching out with questions (for example, who will be our driver and their contact, where will they wait for us, how to pay for the rest, and other basics). In terms of value, it is definitely not cheap and the safari vehicle was somewhat old, but the accommodation and food during the trip was good. Smile with us tours actually offered the most competitive price in relation to others (I got nearly 10 quotes from different operators). Overall, it was a good experience and would definitely repeat doing safari again.
