Incredibly friendly and enthusiastic!
Worth every penny! Such reliable staff members, on time and super friendly and enthusiastic. We learnt so much on the tour about the animals and the safari. The staff really made an effort for us to see as many animals as possible!

Unforgettable Guide
Forget all other tours. Kakashi is the godfather of guides. He is the guide others aspire to be. He knows the terrain, he knows where the animals are and he has an eye for locating them and being the first one there. Such a wonderful time spent with a true professor of wildlife. We were a party of 6. I've traveled the world and usually find my own way. I was hesitant but so glad we joined this group. Thanks Brenda for making all the arrangements and Kakasii for being our guide and leader. STOP SEARCHING NOW AND BOOK TANZANIA TOURS.
Unfulfilled Promises, Hidden Costs, Locked Out in Rwanda (AVOID!)
Rwanda trip with Starboard turned into a nightmare. Promised 20-hour bus ride took 34, activities vanished, clients locked out of hotels for non-payment (owner detained!). Choose a different operator for your African adventure!
Key Points:
* Deceptive marketing: promised comfort, delivered cramped nightmare bus ride.
* Unfulfilled itinerary: paid for activities that disappeared.
* Unprofessional & opaque: owner detained, clients left to handle hotel bills.
**Recommendation:** Book elsewhere for a safe and enjoyable African safari experience.

Experienced in Keeping Everyone Engaged and Learning
Our family’s Tanzanian adventure was an enriching and amazing experience thanks to our knowledgeable and experienced guide, Goodluck Kombe. Under his guidance, we witnessed animals in their natural habitats and engaged with locals fulfilling their daily routines. The visit to the Maasai tribe village brought a deeper understanding of these indigenous people and allowed us to interact with them where they live and work. We didn’t need to know their language to share experiences. Our men got to throw Maasai spears and view how fields are plowed with oxen. We danced and sang with them and learned to make beaded bracelets as gifts to ourselves. The pace of the trip accommodated all of our ages from 20 to 89 and any concerns or problems were quickly solved by Goodluck. His ability to understand and assess our needs gave the group stability and allowed us to relax and enjoy the once-in-a-lifetime activities
