The Trip of a Lifetime
5/5

Our planned 30th wedding anniversary trip to Africa was not simple. We wanted to ascend Mount Kilimanjaro and follow that with a safari that included viewing the Great Migration. Ker-Downey delivered it ALL! From the detailed planning to the actual trip itself, Emma Perrin brought everything together. We were met at every stop by friendly and well informed drivers. They arranged excellent outfitters (Summits Africa) for our Kilimanjaro climb. Our accomodations at Arusha Coffee Lodge, Lake Dulati, Gibbs Farm (not to be missed!), Lemala Kuria Hills, and Elewana Sand River were spectacular, as were the game drives at each location. We saw many discount safari drives where people were crammed into converted mini vans with pop-up roofs and drivers that rely entirely on radio communication to locate wildlife. In contrast, our game drives were in open-sided, converted Toyota 4 Runners that could drive up the side of a cliff if need be and driven by guides that know where the wildlife is without someone telling them. The food at each location was excellent and varied. The bush breakfasts each morning during our game drives were just wonderful. Don't skip the opportunity to take a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti or Masai Mara Preserves. Each location went out of their way to arrange a surprise to commemorate our anniversary. Finally, at Emma's urging we flew to Zanzibar and spent three nights at the Zuri Zanzibar Resort. Emma was right. The perfect way to round out our dream vacation. Even though we spent 25 days in Africa, we barely scratched the surface. My wife and I consider ourselves addicted to Africa and are already planning a return.

Excellent Service and Attention to Detail Throughout!
5/5

From my first contact with Ute at Roho Ya Chui I was impressed with her "can do" attitude and desire to help us have the best safari experience possible. At no stage during our holiday did her arrangements disappoint and I cannot speak highly enough of the accommodation selected for us and the transport arrangements between them all.

Once on safari we were blown away by the experience - it really was top notch and I can whole-heartedly recommend Roho to you - they really know how to arrange a brilliant holiday. There were too many highlights to record but if I was to make a recommendation, then staying the 3 nights in Machaba Camp, as we did, will make for a perfect stay - this camp surpassed all expectations in everything it did - I ran out of superlatives minutes after arriving there!

Thank you so much Roho and especially Ute - we hope to return with you again in a few years!

About: Go Wild
An enthralling tour......
5/5

Mr Manesh Desai organized our 10 days Kenya tour in the most impeccable way. The tours organized by Go Wild have the best of hotel, vehicles and are very wildlife oriented. Along with making your trip a memorable one they also impart a lot of knowledge towards wildlife habitat and wildlife photography. They really help you to capture your memories in a frame.

If I could give more than 5 stars I'll give it!

We are soo lucky to discover Kenya with Australken tours! We have a wonderful team - guide Edwin, cook John and masai Tom, with whom we made our 4-day trip to Masai Mara. Edwin told us a lot about animals, and about Kenya in general. I will never forget our cozy dinners somewhere in the African savannah. The trip was perfectly organized, Zippy was in touch and was always ready to help. Throughout the safari, the Internet was always available, but the days were so exciting that it was not really needed.

We saw everyone with the exception of the black rhino, which there are not so many left. We even saw the leopard that Tom and Edwin found. Watching him was unforgettable.

Big thanks to you that you were always fed us in the car on the road, even though I didn't drink all the soda that accumulated all the days of trip :))

The attitude was so warm that we left Kenya with great sadness! We are so lucky with the team that I don’t even believe that it happen to me.

Excellent

Tammy at Pembury arranged our flights and activities at Victoria Falls, including a game drive. It was excellent. Went to Stanley Livingstone National Park and were so close to the animals that it felt you could reach out and touch them. Exciting.

Great first safari!
5/5

I have a very enjoyable experience with Mega Wild Safaris. It was my first safari and it was essential to me to get personalized information, guidance and a good safari plan. I also had a shorter time than normal. The company sent me all the information needed and they acted in a very fast and efficient way with a short notice.

My guide was very knowledgeable, he knew Akagera park like the back of his hand and that was very reassuring. We managed to see giraffe, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, many kinds of birds and some species of monkeys. My guide, Godwin always had very interesting facts about every animal we saw.

The lodge I stayed at, Akagera Game Lodge, was very comfortable and they gave me the best of attentions. I even forgot my Kindle in the room and they collaborated with Mega Wild to get to Kigali so I could get it back in Rome afterwards.

I can recommend Mega Wild if you want to have a good and tailored safari experience.

Fantastic safari tour.
5/5

Mohamed was quick and easy to communicate with. He responded to my emails and WhatsApp messages prior to the safari. Arrange for the hotel stay the day before, and explained the safari tour details patiently. We were 5 of us, in a Toyota Landcruiser that has the space and ability to stand up for game viewing and photographs. Our tour guide David Simba was wonderful, his knowledge of the region, animals and culture, along with his sense of humor was a nice balance to have for those long drives. We saw the big 5, some up close and plenty of opportunities to take pictures etc., The cook made simple lunch and tasty dinner for us daily. Accommodations were a mix of tent camping and lodge/hotel types, some with a swimming pool and wifi. Overall, a very pleasant and satisfying tour without any problems. Strongly recommend. For the price point, this is perhaps the best option in Arusha. Go for it.
