Great safari with some wait times
4/5

We had a great time on our 7 day Safari in Kenya. Our driver/guide Arony was very good and experienced. He managed to be the first to find the Lions in the Massai Mara, ahead of a lot of other cars. This led to us having a great and quiet view of them. He was also very knowledgable, considerate and funny. So if you can, Arony is your man!
The parks and animals were stunning and an absolute must see. Accomodation in the budget tour is as you can expect very basic. But besides the occasional power outage we felt well taken care of in all of them. Just don't expect wifi everywhere.
The reason why we can't give 5 star is the organisation of the group tour. We had people joining and leaving which is okay, but the way it is planned it leads to annoying wait times. We started the tour very early on the first day just to wait 1.5hours for some stuff they had to fix at the bank in downtown, only to drive back the way we came. Could have slept all this time to be picked up then. The order of our itinerary also was mixed on short notice to pick up another guest which led to us going back to Mai mahiu (1h each way), again time we could have spent exploring or at least comfortably at a hotel instead of bumpy traffic. Lastly our game drive on the last day was cut short to 1 hour instead of 2.5 hours due to a bus schedule of other guests (again something you could mitigate by getting a second car to pick up these guests). I believe this is not the drivers nor the other guests fault, but the organisation from the office. All this accounts to about half a day lost during these 7 days.

So to summarize: The tour is good, Arony was great and the organisation just okay. I guess the good price compensates a bit.

Leonard is super professional, super nice, and very patient. Made out safari so fun and enjoyable.
5/5

Definitely recommend Jocky tours for safari trips. We got very lucky with our guide: Leonard. He is super professional and super nice. He was very patient with us and worked to accommodate all our needs. He drove tirelessly all day long in Masai Mara so that we catch a lion pride in action and also another cheetah couple, and he didn’t stop until we finally caught them and got to enjoy what we came for. We were all so happy and appreciative for his dedication. He made my safari dream come true.

A Trip of a Lifetime!
5/5

I would definitely recommend Tanzania Kenya Safari. We climbed Mt Kilimanjaro using the 8 days Lemosho Route. We found the team fantastic and the meals were very good. The guides would always make sure we were eating enough
They would always reply to our emails and there were many of them. When it came to payment we had a very smooth payment by card in the end everything was good

Best Safari Ever!
5/5

"The Best Safari Experience Ever"

We had searched for a tour company and settled for Skylane Safaris Ltd few months before we arrived in Kenya.
We had so many questions that we wanted to know prior to our arrival and Brenda from the tourist desk was so patient with us, all the questions and information we needed were answered very efficiently.

We had an awesome time all through the Safari and from when we arrived and departed back home, we can't thank them enough. The tour guide Mr.John was amazing in the Amboseli,Lake Nakuru and Maasai Mara.He is very knowledgeable and very professional and always trying his best to make our trip memorable. The selection of our accommodation was just perfect, all lodges and camps were very clean and beautiful. We highly recommend Skylane Safaris and we hope to book with them in future.

About: Tanzania
An Awesome Experience Worth Repeating
Overall rating
5/5

Did a 3D/2N "Camping Safari" that was arranged through Swahili Paradise Tours & Safaris. From start to finish it was an easy process and pleasant experience dealing with everyone from Jimmy to Mashaka, Juma (Driver) and Paul (Chef who made sure we had some very tasty meals).
Visiting Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater has to be one of the world's premium safari experiences and doing it with a company like Paradise Tour is a must. IMHO, everything on this safari was beyond my expectations from the accommodations, weather, food, scenery and wildlife (except not spotting a leopard). Tanzania should definitely be high on any traveler's list. I know it will always be for me and I am looking forward to returning and exploring more of what Tanzania has to offer.

Information provided was clear, they did exactly what they said they will do, the guide was superb.

A fantastic time.  Unlike other companies, clear information was provided. Picked up on time.  We had a break at the Rift Vally which is a beautiful spot.  We had a decent lunch half way and arrived at the camp around 2pm.  After a 2 hours break, we went out for an evening game drive.  We then had dinner which was very nice.  The next morning we were out all day in the park. We managed to see 4 of the big 5.  Our guide Richard was fantastic.  He knew where the animals were and was very good at spotting them.  He is knowledgeable and explained about the character of the animals that we were seeing well.  He made extra effort to make our trip enjoyable.  On our last day, we visited a Masaai Mara village which was wonderful.  We joined in their welcoming dance.  Overall the trip was wonderful.  The food provided was great.  The camp staff are wonderful and made our stay pleasant. Lunch is provided in the first and last day.  Packed lunch was available during the second day.

Advise to future travellers:  generator is used for power and it is turned off at 10pm. Power is also turned on at 5.30am or so and turned off at 7pm.   Sockets are located in the dining area only.   Charge your phones and have your shower well in advance before power is turned off.
