Planning our adventure with Serengeti Smile was the best decision we made!
I’ve read a lot of reviews about several companies and Serengeti Smile reviews were all true! The company is serious, the price is fair and you can be sure they will provide the best program for you, adjusting everything according to your needs.
From the first moment we made contact they were fast and available with all the doubts and requirements. We made a lot of demands, to fit the necessities of a family group (with a pregnant woman), and they were always very good in advise and make all the effort to set a perfect program for us, making all the changes we needed (specially about food and accommodations).
We had only a few days (07) to see all we wanted and they made it! We went to Serengeti, NgoroNgoro, Lake Manyara, Tarangire and Kilimanjaro and everything was perfect. The schedule was tight, but very good. We went to Serengeti first (the domestic flight were included in our quote) and then the other places until Kilimanjaro, from where our flight back home departed.
The car was safe, comfortable and very clean, the food and water provided was good and sufficient and our guide Mussa is one of a kind! He is very good driver, gentle, patient and has A LOT of experience in Safari. He can see a lion lying on the grass from miles and miles away! He has a lot of information not only about the animals, but also about plants, birds and culture, and this absolutely made all the difference for us. He make all the efforts he could to make sure we saw all the things we wanted to see.
I definitely recommend Serengeti Smile for your Tanzania adventure!

Absolutely amazing from start to finish
Hi all just finished a 8 day safari with Meijo safari tours and it was amazing, we seen all the big five plus all the cats too. Are guid was amazing (Herman) the man could see animals from miles away that I could only see with binoculars was crazy how good he was a spotting, his knowledge and passion for the animals was amazing. We got close to most animals a number of times throughout the trip and was even with a pride of lions on are own for a few hours and watched them catch a wilderbeast. The tours was amazing all accommodations were really nice we enjoyed Ndutu the best as you don’t have to stay on the roads and can really get close to the action there. Would definitely recommend Meijo safaris there the best also all the food was top as well hot meals for lunch everyday and was always a different meal. Thanks for a amazing trip

We were a group of 20 students from Hospitality class in our school, we planned to visit Masai Mara game reserve and josana tours was our organizer. From beginning to end everything was awesome. Our communication with Antony was as easy as counting the numbers 1,2,3.... He was knowledgeable and knew exactly what we needed as a group of students. He gave us an unbeatable price for the tour. Our guide Edward was so good on field activities for searching for animals and he gave us a lot of information about the animals. We saw a lot of them, even angry 2 male giraffes fighting. The accommodation was camping, we were served with delicious food and the staff were friendly.
Generally, we learned and enjoyed a lot during our safari. We therefore recommend this company Johana Tours

Words cannot begin to describe this experience. From the time you inquire about packages, to the time you get dropped off to leave, the experience is incredible. The customer service from everyone involved throughout the process is outstanding!
The safari is life changing. We got to see Rhinos (yes, multiple), Cheetas feeding on a fresh kill, have elephants walk inches away from our jeep and even see a lioness successfully hunt a warthog. But none of that would have been possible without our driver and tour guide Shafino. He was the real highlight of our trip. From the second he greeted us at our first hotel we knew we were in the BEST hands.
Shafino was beyond knowledgeable about the culture, the animals, the people and anything else we asked about. He knew exactly where to drive to see the animals we wanted to see. He is also the most talented driver around, and I can say this because while other drivers were getting stuck in the mud and peoples safaris were put on hold while they had to be towed out, Shafino was experienced enough to know exactly where and how to drive so we would not get stuck. If you are booking with Lion King Shafino is a MUST!!

Attentive, responsive and helpful!
I first reached out to Gems of Africa when looking at booking a 2 night safari for our January trip. Within 24 hours, Kelly got back to me saying that the option I had enquired about was not available. Attached to the email was then a document of options that were available for my selected dates - options that I would not have been able to find myself when looking online. Kelly was extremely responsive and answered all of my questions quickly. We had decided to go with the presented option of Inverdoorn, a reserve that we had not heard of before but found out it is the sister reserve of Aquila. The booking process was easy and smooth, and Inverdoorn were in touch the day before our safari to inform us of pick up time from our accommodation to the safari. When we arrived, we were presented with a (huge!) cake as I had told Kelly that we were visiting for my birthday. A really nice touch that definitely was not needed, but was very much appreciated.
The tour itself was amazing, on our first drive when we arrived we saw lions, rhino, giraffes, springbok, buffalo and ostriches. Then the following morning we saw the same again alongside the elephants. We got very close to the animals without it becoming intrusive and our ranger was both extremely passionate and knowledgeable. You could tell he loved the animals and what he does. I would definitely recommend Gems of Africa to anyone who is looking to book a safari. Hassle free, great communication and reliable!
