Absolutely perfect from planning stage to safari
I am SO glad I chose Tanzania Choice Safaris for our trip. After initially trying to plan a trip independently, I gave up when I realized you really need expert advice for this. Brenda spent a lot of time with me choosing the perfect locations, properties, and timing, customized to our preferences. We wanted a mix of lodges and traditional tent camps with varying levels of luxury/budget throughout the trip and it all worked out perfectly. I am also very happy that we used a private guide/driver instead of joining random groups on shared game drives throughout the trip at various properties.
Our guide/driver Leslie was flawless and I would request him specifically if I return. He is a genuinely caring and great human being who loves to help, is fun to spend a week or more with, and is super knowledgeable about all animals. I was especially impressed with his knowledge about birds, which not every guide understands with such familiarity. He was also an excellent professional and technical driver, clearly more skilled than many of the others on the road. He had a map of every location in his head, always knowing where best to go. We saw everything we wanted to see and more.
Tanzania Choice Safaris is located in Tanzania and is a locally-owned company with all local employees. It was nice to support a small, family-operated business that really cares for you personally and understands the ever-changing local conditions. Brenda even checked up on us after we finished the safari and went to the islands independently for a diving portion of the trip.
I HIGHLY recommend this company and experience.

The guides were knowledgeable and the service exceeded expectations. Although the tour was slightly pricey, the breathtaking views and well-planned itinerary made it worth every penny. A Splendid Safari
Our guide Raymond and the Le Kobe adventures team gave us an extraordinary all-inclusive safari experience in Serengeti and Ngorongoro, from start to finish, every aspect of the trip exceeded our expectations.
Right from the beginning, the company impressed me with their prompt communication and planning. They provided a cool website and a pdf which includes all the details of the trip and were flexible to adapt it to our needs.
The choice of accommodation was outstanding. We stayed at Serena Lodges in both locations. These lodges offer amazing views, comfortable facilities and great services.
I can't rave enough about the expertise and passion of our safari guide, James. He was very knowledgeable of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro, and tapped into his network of guides to quickly find the animals we wanted to see. He also shared great details about the animals and their living environments.

Mr Widman was very accommodating, communicative, and helpful
We had a wonderful 2day private safari to Tarangire and Ngorongoro crater. Our guide Noel was very friendly and informative and knowledgeable. He fielded all our many questions with a smile .
The accommodation at the lodge where we stayed overnight were great and the staff was very friendly and welcoming .
Overall the trip was great value for a private tour and I am very pleased we chose Widmans

After an exhaustive search, Shanjoy was the company chosen due to the fluid communication I had at all times and its ability to adapt to my requirements.
It was an unforgettable 10 days of safari. A unique experience that I highly recommend. Especially if it can be done in the low season, as was our case.
Thanks to Patrick and his entire team for their professionalism and a special mention to our driver in Kenya, Joseph, whose driving skills were magnificent!

Aussies on Safari with Jon
If Uganda isn't on your African itinerary I highly recommend it should be and also on that itinerary should be a trip run by "Safaris by Jon"
My partner and I booked a private safari with Jon and it was absolutely amazing, he picked us up from Entebbe Airport then we began our adventure out to the west side of Uganda as our first stop was Queen Elizabeth National Park. After a morning game drive we went out to see the Chimpanzees at Kyambura Gorge which was one of the best safari days you could ask for! The accommodation Jon booked for us was great and the food was beautiful!
After Queen Elizabeth we headed to Bwindi to see the Mountain Gorillas. Again Jon nailed it with our accommodation setting us up in a comfortable room in a lodge that does great food, the lodge also packs you lunch for when you are out Gorilla Trekking.
From Bwindi we spent our last night at Lake Bunyonyi, which is a peaceful place to kick back and relax and look at all the amazing photos from Safari.
If you are thinking about coming to Uganda and want a great Safari experience I would highly recommend reaching out to Jon! We really enjoyed our time with him!
On another note, the vehicle he took us on tour in was a 4x4 van with a pop top roof for safari drives so it was the perfect vehicle for roadtrip comfort and game drives.

Extremely Professional
My girlfriend and I went on a 7 day safari organised by Hyrax. We had an excellent service from point of enquiry until the end of our trip.
Emmah was extremely helpful in tailoring us a bespoke Safari route from Nairobi to Mombasa. And our driver guide, Tony, was very knowledgeable about the history, the culture and the wildlife of Kenya.
We had the absolute trip of a lifetime and I’m not sure how we’ll ever manage to top this trip!
