Without this company my dream of seeing the Gorillas wouldn't be complete.
5/5

I found Martz Safaris through Safari Bookings. Our budget wasn't very big, and every other company was quoting huge prices just to see the gorillas. This was my last item on my quest to complete 101 Dreams Come True. Martz worked within my budget, and gave me more than I could've asked for while helping me to complete my final dream - to see the Gorillas in the wild.

I was skeptical before booking because there weren't many reviews. I'm so happy I took the chance.

They took care of every detail from start to finish, making certain my friend and I were treated like queens. The personal touches, the itinerary created just for us, our guide Kassim (please request him when you book), were all fantastic. By the end Moses, who set up the entire tour, became a friend, as did Kassim. We felt like we were able to see and know the real Uganda, and I'm forever grateful for this experience. I can't wait to return.

I highly recommend you work with this local company compared to overpriced foreign companies. They may not have many reviews, but soon they will be known as one of the best.

Our tour guide, Kassim, made this the trip of a lifetime!
5/5

Kassim, has to be the greatest guide I've ever experienced. I've traveled to 39 different countries and I was skeptical about doing any type of tour. Kassim changed my opinion. He took care of every detail and was knowledgeable about every aspect of our trip. He made certain we were with the best group to have an incredible gorilla experience. We were on a very tight budget, but somehow the tour felt like we saw and did more than other people we met on much more expensive tours. Kassim helped us to understand the local culture, spoke honestly with us about his country and his love for it. By the end, I considered him my friend. We had many long drives that included much laughter.

If you want the greatest experience of Uganda I highly suggest Kassim and his company to guide you. This way you will experience the country not just be an observer.

Well planned, exciting, and fun.
5/5

During our stay we spent a good majority of our time with tour guides and experts Martin and Andre. Both of these guys were certainly experts and professionals. Every day was planned out perfectly to hit essentials and see anything and everything possible. An important aspect to me was how passionate they were for this job. Their dedication to their communities and passion for their job was easily noticeable. This made the trip that much more informational and enjoyable. Our trip to Eastern Africa did not disappoint in any way shape or form. After the trip I immediately knew I planned on heading back to Africa and staying in touch with our guides and their company.

Very good safari experience
5/5

It was our first safari so it's hard to compare but I think everything was OK. Jalala (probably the owner) responded very fast to every question and offered a good price for us. Accommodation in Panorama Campsite was very good with beautiful view over Lake Manyara. The best part of our safari was the Ngorongoro Crater. I was amazed by the number of animals living there. Also Tarangire National Park surprised us pleasantly. We were satisfied with both, our guide and cook. The only drawback from my point of view was the deposit payment - international bank transfer, especially from my country, is really expensive, maybe it would be useful to find another way of payment such as credit card or PayPal. You can see short video of our safari trip on YouTube: https://youtu.be/j7crrOSBxus

Professionalism from start to finish.
5/5

Climbing Kilimanjaro with Snow Africa Adventures was an experience that we highly recommend. As a tour operator from the USA, we often view how a tour is handled with different eyes. As this review was titled -from the pick up at the airport, to our final hugs goodbye, our experience could not have run smoother or be any better. Florent, Snow Africa's owner/operator made sure that all details were executed perfectly and his staff of guides and porters were not only professional, but they were all so enjoyable to be with, especially when they sang to us! We felt safe at all times under their care. The equipment provided for the campsite was top quality and the food served was excellent. After a successful summit, we finished our African adventure with 3 days of safari. It was an amazing journey - one that we will want to repeat again, and again! We loved it!

Excellent professional service that gives you moments to cherish forever !!
5/5

Jambo (Hi/Hello in Kenyan local language) !! My first African safari !! I never expected it to be such an incredible one. A big thanks to Maggie (our point of contact at Bison Safaris) and James (our tour guide & driver). James was waiting for us at the airport and no confusions to spot him. Hence a good start. We headed straight to our accommodation at Rhino Camp at Masai Mara. Rhino camp gives you a feeling of living in the woods. The staffs, especially the cooks are very friendly. Second was a full day safari. James proved he is the best in the business. Exceptional knowledge about every animals and birds in the park. We lucky to spot 4 out of the BIG 5 category on day 2 itself. We did Hot air balloon ride on day 3 which was the best of the tour. Peter, the pilot, who left America for his of nature and has been living in Kenya for the last 24 years made the flight so special with his incredible commentary. We visited Lake Nakuru on the last day and spotted white Rhino (5th of the BIG 5) and lot of Hippos at Lake Naivasha. I recommend Matfarm resort, where we stayed in Nakuru. Overall, the trip gave me moments that I will cherish forever. A trip that changed my perspective about Kenya and the people of Kenya. Asanti sana (Thank you somuch) Maggie, James and Bison Safaris Team. You guys rock !!

Magnificent trip to Mt Meru, Mt Kilimanjaro and safari
5/5

Our trip main goal was to have wonderful time climbing Kilimanjaro which all went beyond expectations. Both organizers Emmanuel and Ene, as well as the porters and guides on the mountain, were all very friendly and helpful. We climbed both Mt Meru and Mt Kilimanjaro with our guides who are true professionals summiting our whole group of 4 to Kilimanjaro. To give you a hint of an excellent service - the summit to the mountains were calculated so perfectly that we arrived just a few minutes before sunrise after which the guides surprised us with warm tea and juice. The price was also very good - nothing you can find from the most common sites on the internet.
We recommend highly to climb both Meru and Kilimanjaro as well take the safari for the weekend with Siafu Tanzania Safaris.

A family trip to explore the South-African nature and culture
5/5

Wild Wings Safaris (WWS) helped me from the beginning to set up a very nice program.
Many questions were answered in short time resulting in a program that suits the whole family of parents and four sons.
All the hotels and lodges were well informed , the hired cars were perfect, the combination of Cape-Town, Stellenbosch (wine-tasting), Oudtshoorn (Bontebok parc) and Addo elephant parc gave a good impression of culture and nature.
Of course we had to book our tickets ourselves and fill in the program with lovely restaurants.
The basement, organized by WWS, gave us a save feeling.
