About: Tanzania
A chance to get up close to some wonderful wildlife

5/5

Wildlife was spot on and accommodation whilst on safari was excellent. Relaxation guaranteed with some time out in zanzibar...we headed for Jimbiani, a quiet local village... not your pristine polished resorts if this is your thing

An amazing way to celebrate our anniversary
5/5

We visited northern Tanzania in February and stayed at several Nomad camps. The attention to detail and service provided by everyone at Kuro Tarangire, Entamanu, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti Safari camp was exceptional. Staff at Entamanu noticed immediately after we arrived at camp that I was congested and recommended ginger tea. By the next morning the congestion was gone and I felt great the rest of our trip. Each of our guides were very knowledgeable about their park and the animals there. They used their experience and knowledge to provide us with unique animal sightings and didn’t just follow other guides around. Camp staff was friendly and interested in our experiences. Our last night On the Serengeti camp staff surprised us with a cake decorated to celebrate our 30 anniversary, which is why we went to Tanzania.

Dancing Zebra listened to what we wanted to do and how we like to travel and put together a great trip for us. Emails were promptly responded to and Jessica always had time to take our calls. We told Jessica what we wanted and showed up to enjoy. Everything was arranged and Nomad handled all the details so we could spend every moment enjoying the parks.

Fantastic Mokoro Trip
5/5

I visited Botswana with a group of 10 friends, all of whom thoroughly enjoyed our mokoro half-day trip through the Okovango Delta organized by Kalahari Marsh Safari Holidays. Lucky was very responsive and made organizing for a large group of people easy. Since our adventure started early in the morning, he even met us when we arrived at the airport in Maun the day before to let us know what to expect during our trip next day. Overall, a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend.

An exceptional trip with Africa. Sermon Safaris

An exceptional trip with Africa. Sermon Safaris

We've done a trip with African Sermon Safaris.

The initial itinerary was good and if we had any change requests, the safari company agents gladly complied.

Daniel was a pleasure to work with and was very familiar with all the locations we wanted to visit.

The guide and driver has been great; Steve, the guide is knowledgeable and pleasant; he made the entry/exit process simple, taking care of every details, etc and is flexible with daily itinerary schedule.

They usually add some special experiences with the locals to help you in understanding the country you travel to.

The accommodation choices have been really lovely in all aspects. And we've loved the restaurants and food as well.

We've already recommended African Sermon Safaris to many of our friends, particularly with locations that are not as familiar to us.

We had an amazing 3 days in Kruger
5/5

The experience with Wild Planet Safari was wonderful. Communication leading up to our trip was easy and Thale was always quick to reply with helpful information. Very accommodating.
My family and I completed a 3 day Kruger Safari with Wild Planet Safari in March 2019. It was an amazing. I didn’t have very high expectations for we only had 3 days in Kruger but we saw many animals and several times over. Our guide Chris’ spotting ability is very impressive. The entire trip was great from start to finish, accommodation is great, meals are delicious, above our expectations, safari drives are amazing, I have some incredible photos and wonderful memories from this trip. Thank you Wild Planet Safari!

Excellent experience at a reasonable price
5/5

I was in Kenya for business and found out last minute about some time off which I wanted to use for a safari. I contacted a few companies only two nights before my time off and Axis reached out quickly with contact information which allowed me to schedule and finalize my booking only hours after inquiring, even with my reservation starting the next day. In addition, they accommodated an alternative pick up location for me to avoid redundant travel.

James was an excellent driver and safari guide who was very accommodating and skilled. We saw incredible landscapes and animals. His warm personality and patience made it an even better experience.

The accommodations were more than adequate, especially given the reasonable price, and the local food was quite enjoyable.

Would definitely recommend!

A terrific experience
5/5

As women we wanted to travel by ourself in an African country. We were very skeptical as to whether Tanzania was the right choice.
We have written a request to the team of Benson Safaris Tanzania, which replied within 24h. Presumably we as clients have been exhausting because we have asked many questions: For the safety of the country, if we can travel as women by ourself, if it dangerous to go for safari as women and so on.
Today we can say that Tanzania is a truly peaceful and fun-loving country, poor as well. We have made 14 days safari and then flew to Zanzibar for 6 days.
In the 6 days Zanzibar we did a great spice farm tour and had a great yoga hotel in the north (Nungwi). Benson has chosen a wonderful hotel with 2x daily yoga offerings and meals right in front of our rooms.
Our guide on the safari was Joshua, who brought a lot of knowledge about bird species, land and animals. All our questions could be answered and he had great experiences from the wildlife and safaris, which he shared with us.
We found the people of Tanzania very eager to learn about our culture and country and we felt particularly comfortable being cooked African "Mama Lunch" for us from an African village woman.
All our prejudices about the country have not been confirmed, we felt safe, were always well accommodated and nicely received.
The team of Benson Safaris Tanzania we met in Arusha for a dinner: We wanted to take a "reparation" for our many questions and get to know the person behind the scenes. The staff is handpicked from Benson hiself and all are local people working for Benson Safaris Tanzana. Benson gave a special job and with it an opportunity for his life. That’s why we would always travel with a local owned company because they are knowledgeable for their country as well.
Our driver Zablon was a really authentic and true experience in Africa: He was funny and really friendly when he picked us from the airport and made the Arusha City Trip with us as well. Once you are in Arusha you should have a coffee in Africafé and some Mandasi as well

Murchison Falls National Park
5/5

Eddie our guide was very professional in his knowledge of the animals we encountered. Taking his time to slow the vehicle for photo ops and his knowledge about the particular animals that we had sited. Highlight of the tour was the pride of female lions (and the kill) at the waters edge of Lake Albert. A rare sighting indeed and not for the faint of heart.

Perfect Tanzania Safari
5/5

My wife and I booked our 4 day safari in Tanzania with Monkey Adventures. We wanted to visit the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater, and they were very helpful in customizing the tour for our needs. Their consultant responded to all our questions very patiently. We were very specific about the places we wanted to stay - Lemala Nanyuki at Serengeti and Ngorongoro Serena lodge at Ngorongoro and thanks to Monkey adventures we got both the Lodges that we wanted.

We landed in JRO airport and were taken to our Hotel in Arusha. We were briefed about the safari, and the safari began the next day with a 7 hour drive to the Central part of the Serengeti. We were excited about visiting the park that we have heard so much about and our guide Dominic ensured we our trip lived upto our expectations!.

Dominic was a very well informed guide, with great knowledge about the place and the animals of the Serengeti. He stopped at many locations to explain about the trees, animals, hills or just the location. We asked too many questions and he patiently answered all of them. I had a list of animals I wanted to see, and we would like to thank Dominic since he ensured we got to see all of them.

Everyday we spend around 8-10 hours in the vehicle, driving from place to place or in game drives or stopping by a sighting. This might sound tiring, but Dominic’s driving skills and the condition of the Landcruiser made the drive very pleasant. The vehicle also had charging points, where we could charge our Mobile and camera. Dominic offered us his binoculars for wildlife viewing and he kept books about animals, birds and trees of the region in his vehicle.

About accommodations, while both Lemala Nanyuki and Serena met our expectation, Lemala Nanuki was outstanding in its service and room quality and views! Serena felt a bit crowded with 100s of other guests.

After our safari we were dropped off at Arusha airport for our flight to Zanzibar.

It was a very memorable trip for us, and I am glad I chose Monkey Adventures. We will come back to East Africa for a Kenya Safari in 2020, and I am sure it will be with Monkey Adventures.
