Good experience for the price
Good experience at a pretty affordable price especially considering it's high season, we saw all big fives thanks to our driver & guide Peter kapino who has ~15 years of experience in safari. During the high season things could be a bit chaotic, but the communication with Lenchada side is really efficient and problems got solved quickly.

The best patient and warm service
I contacted a lot of Safari companies in advance because I wanted to have my wedding in Africa, morningstar always replied very fast, kendy is a very patient person, she solved a lot of problems for us and prepared a surprise for my wedding in advance, I think it was the most memorable day for me!
Our guide joshua had years of safari experience, was calm and polite, found lots of animals for us, very professional!
I think this is one of the best memories I will ever have in my life, thank you for their service, it has left me with a very good impression of Kenya.

Great safari experience with good communication and very customer focussed
What a brilliant trip! We did a 7 day safari with Laxatrails in the excellent company of Peter, an amazing, safe, reliable and knowledgeable driver and guide. Whilst accommodating ALL our wishes, he guided us through 4 Kenyan national parks, seeking out the very best of animal viewing and safari experiences.
Dennis joined us for 4 days too so between Peter and Dennis, we enjoyed double guiding; local knowledge, funny stories, updates in real time, vehicle modifications, lots of laughs, beautiful photo opportunities, and skilful driving. So many animals - the Big Five and the Ugly Five!. We really appreciated the way Peter and Dennis would know how to get the best viewing of the animals and were keen that we were satisfied at every turn. They certainly know their way around the huge expanse of the parks. The tweaks to our accommodation were dealt with as requested including an upgrade at one of the lodges, and we enjoyed bespoke features of our own private safari.
We were picked up in style from our accommodation in Nairobi, Peter helped us complete a key drop off, and at the end of the trip, we were dropped inside the grounds of our new accommodation so we felt very well supported and served for the whole 7 days.

We selected ThinkScene Safaris ourselves from the US because we preferred not to engage a consultant. They compiled an itinerary that perfectly captured everything we wanted to experience in Africa. The entire trip was fantastic. We were eager to see wildlife, and Maasai Mara and Amboseli National Parks provided the ideal settings for encountering the animals we had always dreamed of seeing. We were able to observe many creatures up close, and our guides were both experienced and knowledgeable. I asked countless questions, and our guide always responded with patience and expertise. Safari Destinations: Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara
I recently went on a safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara, and it was an unforgettable experience. Initially, I struggled to find a good organization to book the safari, but once I found this company, I immediately felt confident about my choice.
A big thanks to Innocent for organizing everything and keeping the communication clear and easy. His help made the whole process smooth and stress-free.
I also want to give a shout-out to our guide, Charlie. He made the trip a lot of fun with his knowledge and friendly attitude. It felt like we were exploring with a friend who knew all the best spots and facts.
Overall, I felt like we got great value for our money. The service and the entire experience were definitely worth it.

The best operator
I spent two weeks solo with this tour operator in 2023, and it was an incredible experience. From the moment I was picked up at the airport and taken to my hotel—which was the best accommodation imaginable—I knew I was in good hands. Over the next 12 days, I explored Samburu National Park, Ol Pejeta, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara, Amboseli National Park, and both West and East Tsavo. My driver, Eliphas, did an outstanding job. He was not only kind and friendly but also extremely knowledgeable. Throughout the trip, he provided valuable information about the terrain, wildlife, and national parks. I highly recommend this operator to anyone looking for a safari in East Africa.
