This tour is 100% worth doing. The driver was on time 6:30am and we arrived at Pilanesberg at 10am and jumped in the buggy to start our safari. The safari guide was spectacular, very knowledgeable and nice (she chased the lion location like fast & furious, just to make sure we got to see him). We got to see 3 out of the 5 (we missed Cheetah and Buffalo), but it was enough and totally worth it.
The restaurant we stopped has an amazing view, we saw 10 giraffes there, zebras, etc... but the food is not great, so make sure to pack some snacks.
I just wished we had more time to check the souvenirs store in there, the driver took us to another one close to a gas station in the road and it was expensive and not many options compared to the one at the safari.
It's a MUST DO, you won't regret it! Bring cash to tip your tour guide (they are GREAT).

Wildebeest Safaris orginezed our 5 day Safari in Amboseli, Nakuru lake and Masai Mara. The lodges we spent the nights were inside the parks (higly reccomended) Our driver Titus was one of the best expirienced guides and did everything possible to see the Big five and many other animals in close. Great thanks to Titus! Wildebeest safaris we following up our trip and were flexible to reorganize the schedule when we late because of the heavy trafic. Excellent communication and wonderful tour guide!
My friend and I went on a 3 day safari after hiking Kilimanjaro and couldn’t be happier with the experience we had. Josez, our safari guide, went above and beyond to ensure we saw all the animals we came to see and were able to get the best photos possible. The elephants, lions, wildebeests, rhinos, zebras, monkeys, water buffalo, giraffes, and so much more were majestic in all their natural wonder. Josez shared his love of family, work, and Africa during our time together and genuinely wanted to know us in return. He even went as far to get me to pharmacy after getting sick from summit day on the mountain. I highly recommend this company and Josez to anyone coming to Tanzania for an adventure of a life time. A unique experience in the world of the Serengeti
We chose Colors because they met our budget expectations, were very flexible with all our requests and always responded quickly, and also offered delicious reusable food. And we were not disappointed! We had an unforgettable tour with an excellent guide who was reserved and yet always present for us. The wildlife, especially in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, and the Great Migration are simply stunning! In February the grass is quite high: nice for big cats (who hide in it) but especially great for a lush, green landscape and rich species diversity! The choice of accommodation was really good. We can really recommend the tour with Colors Africa without reservation!

We had a great experience with Kichaka tours. Wilson from the team, wrote us within a couple of hours even on weekends. At our arrival he was there with our tour guide which was a pleasant surprise. Our guide Timann was very reliable and punctual. He was always ready & waiting for us even when we had set very early departures. He did all he could do by calling and radio communication with other tour guides to show us the big five and many more animals.

Professional and efficient
We had a great time on our safari. While we only managed to see 1 of the big 5 (it was a really hot day), our knowledgable guide Perlo did everything he possibly could to find animals and still make the experience super enjoyable. He was fantastic and a credit to the company. Communication and service were great, definitely good value for money.

First of all comunication was great, they were responding to all questions very quick and were very helpful. Special thanks to Bob, who was very patient and found solution to every problem that we had while preapering to our Safari. And during safari everything was like in quote, car was comfortable and clean, hotels were even better than we expected, our guide was open to every new idea that we had and was elastic with changing plans. If you’re considering booking with this tour company, I 100% recommend booking with them! During my booking process, I was between this company and a larger company with more reviews (so I was leaning towards the other company), but Fransisca from Mellivora African Travels convinced me to book with them—and I’m soooo glad I did, I had the best time ever on my safari trip with Mellivora African Travels!
I booked the mid-range option, and Fransisca definitely over delivered on the accommodations! This was my birthday trip, and she made sure everything was nothing short of amazing! The lodges were literally breathtaking, I was thoroughly impressed each time (thanks so much Fransisca!).
The Safari experience itself was so surreal! Our tour guide/driver Jordan was super knowledgeable providing so many interesting and cool facts, and he knew exactly where to go to spot the animals up close. We were able to spot the Big 5 which was so cool! Our chef also provided super tasty meals each day for lunch—like a full on spread that had me so impressed (we had breakfast, dinner and additional lunch boxes provided by our lodges that was also really good).
