The tour itself went above and beyond anything we could have ever imagined.
Even before we had made our booking Fiona went above and beyond what could be expected from her. She was very communicative and really eager to help us with bookings and tickets for our transport. They have organised a truly special tour.
Special mentions should be given to our guide, John. Not only did he know the layout of the parks like the back of his hand he also was really knowledgeable about the wildlife and extremely dedicated to finding us the animals we were looking for. He truly deserves a special mention for all the times he went out of his way to helps.

Stephen met me at the airport, took me to my first nights accomodation, then introduced me to his crew the next day. Over the following 4 days, they guided me into Arusha National Park summitting Mt Meru on the third day. Along the way I saw heaps of wildlife, whilst being well fed and kept safe.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone who was chasing an alternative experience to summiting Kilimanjaro, or who, like me, wanted a bit of climatisation before tackling the “Big One”.

Tanzania Choice Safaris planned an excellent safari trip for us!
Tanzania Choice Safaris was a great choice to plan our safari in the Serengeti National Park and Ngorogoro Crater. Brenda in the office answered all of our many questions promptly and with patience. She is American so was able to communicate with us very well. She also was responsible for choosing and booking our lodges, and they were all excellent. Apparently she tests them herself before sending her clients, and she has good taste. We liked Mara Under Canvas especially, because the location was beautiful overlooking a valley and mountains across the way. But signature was also excellent and Rhotia Lodge was lovely, too, with their beautiful gardens. Our guides, Noel and Elisante, were great and very patient with us and the kids in our extended family group of 12. We saw all the “Big 5” plus more! The trucks have a pop-up top to get an unobstructed view but also can be closed to cut down on the dust. And a cooler to keep the snacks and water cool. TCS also helped us with a few other in-country bookings, like a day at Mount Kilimanjaro, a coffee plantation tour in Arusha, and transfers and flights to Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam. The price was very reasonable at around $3k/person. This was my favorite vacation, and I wish I could do it again. I would choose TCS again, too.

I had an excellent time on this trip. Elias my driver went above and beyond and was always friendly and laughing along with the group. I was travelling solo but it didn’t feel that way at all between my other traveler and all of the staff. The sights we saw were once in a lifetime too!

Breathtaking safari experience
My 75-year-old mother and I just completed a 5-day safari with Aglow, and it was an experience beyond our wildest dreams. Our exceptional guide, John, went above and beyond to ensure we had the most memorable adventure. We were fortunate to witness all of the Big Five, along with countless other fascinating wildlife. Every detail of the safari was meticulously organized, and the accommodations and food were top-notch. As a vegetarian, I was particularly impressed by the delicious and thoughtfully prepared meals that catered to my dietary needs. The breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable wildlife encounters made this safari an absolute must. Highly recommended!

Beyond expectations
We did a 4-day/3-night safari in the Maasai Mara.
Anthony has been our guide for the whole tour. If we had such a great experience, it’s mostly because of him. Fun and caring, you can tell he is very experienced. We relied on him (suggestions on the best time to start the tours in the morning, suggestions on when it was best to move on to a different site) and this made the whole experience very successful. Big shoutout to Anthony! We saw zebras, giraffes, elephants, hippos, crocs, buffalos, wildbeasts, hedgehogs, hyenas, …. We saw packs of cheetas, more than once. We saw packs of lions, many times. And we saw the mighty leopard, which is very tricky to find and only with an expert guide like Anthony we could succeed in seeing it. Emotional.

Filipa supported us in the planning of the whole experience. Terrific support, we exchanged lots of emails to refine the plan according to our wishes. All very transparent, clear, and flexible according to our desires. She also remained available during the whole Safari, answering emails promptly in case of questions

From the first communication till we were dropped off at the airport for our departure flights, we had an unforgettable experience!! George met all our requirements and Dallas, our guide, was outstanding. We visited the most beautiful places, slept in comfortable beds, ate like kings and queens and experienced everything we imagined and more. A bucketlist adventure came true because of them.

Exactly what we wished for
For a budget safari, this experience far exceeded our expectations. Fiona, the owner, was wonderful and maintained excellent communication throughout our trip, from before booking all the way to the end of the safari. She customized our itinerary to fit our specific needs, crafting a perfect journey tailored to what we were looking for. Amazingly, we spotted the Big 5 on the first day while traveling to our accommodation, before the safari had even officially begun! We had incredible wildlife encounters, including witnessing a cheetah hunting and killing its prey, hyenas and lions sharing a meal, and observing migrating wildebeest, among many others. Our driver Abdi was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure we saw everything we wanted, and made sure we had some fab pictures to come home with. The food at each accommodation was excellent, and the campsites and hotels Fiona selected were great (though it was cold in the mornings and evenings, and the showers were chilly, but that’s all part of the experience). If we were to go on another safari, we wouldn’t hesitate to book with Fiona again. This is the most perfect trip, which fit exactly in our budget and gave us everything we expected! X

Professionalism and seriousness
KILIMANJARO HEROES ADVENTURES was recommended to us by our friends who traveled with them in 2023. They themselves had been recommended by friends....We recommend KILI HEROES without any reservation.
For the trek we did the MACHAME route in 7 days.
They are very serious, professional and attach great importance to safety (which is essential for climbing KILI). The organization was perfect and they do everything to make us feel good:

Safety is essential for them. For the climb Mwinyi perfectly managed the problem with one of our 3 daughters (19 to 23 years old), who had a problem related to the altitude at 5400m. He quickly made THE right decision and brought her back down immediately, thus ensuring her safety! thank you. The rest of the family was all the way up 🤩.
But apart from these "technical" aspects we loved the mood and the atmosphere on the camp during these 7 days. We built important bonds with the whole team: 16 porters, 1 cook and 3 guides: the chef Mwinyi, Glory and Calvin. Without them, all this would not have been possible! They are adorable and we feel nostalgic when we think back to their songs, their dances and all their attention to make us feel good physically and mentally!
We warmly recommend KILI HEROES and the team of guides Mwinyi, Glory and Calvin. They were the best! and made this trek a moment forever engraved in our memories.
We also chose KILI HEROES for the safari. Our guide Jamal was great! very respectful of the animals, very attentive and interesting.
He guided us perfectly well in the parks while trying as much as possible to isolate us from the other jeeps. The organization was perfect!
