I planned my holiday with Safari Zest Tours. I was accompanied by two friends who are wildlife and bird enthusiasts! We did a private jeep safari in Kenya. We started at Meru National Park where we observed the Big Five! It is also home to one of the largest populations of rhinos and Buffalos in Kenya. We saw hundreds of bird species including the critically endangered Hindes Babbler. It was an awesome experience. For a change of habitat and experience, we headed off to Kakamega Forest National Reserve in Western Kenya and we were able to spot over 100 unique species, including the critically endangered Hooded Vulture. We were also lucky to spot the venomous Gabon viper around the campsite! Petrifying and also exciting at the same time! After three days, we opted for a change of scenery and drove to Tanzania, stopping at the world's renowned extinct volcano in Ngorongoro. The views were amazing, and the hikes through the highlands were just spectacular. We interacted with the Maasai community that lives around the crater. Lots of wildlife viewing and scenic beauty were one of the highlights in Ngorongoro. We then flew back to JKIA after a long trip by Safari Zest Safaris. I highly recommend Safari Zest tours to anyone wishing to have a wonderful trip in any East African country.

We had great views of many many animals, including giraffes, elephants, Rhino, warthog, water bucks, name it, and at real close range. We did not however get to see the lions and leopards.
Otherwise, we were excited of what we saw and of course we took lots of pictures. The guides - Abraham and another, were very patient & conversant with the characteristics of every animal. The whole safari was a refreshing experience and I recommend anyone else to venture to it too. You will love it

We used Destiny Explorer for our guide/driver during our five day Safari package experience. It was a private tour mother-daughter trip. We covered, Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Highlands, Lake Eyasi and Lake Manyqra. We thoroughly enjoyed the mixed events which included game drives and the walking safaris. The additional cultural experience with the Hadzabe and Tonga tribes completed our unique and memorable 5-day experience in Tanzania. Our driver Bonniface, was the consummate professional: a thoughtful, experienced and knowledgeable driver and guide, he enlightened us not just about the wild mammals in the Safari but also the unique birds in the Savannah and in the Ngorongoro crater. We also had many great conversations with Bonni over meals on the culture and people of Tanzania. Last but not least we appreciated Bonni maintaining the jeep in great working and clean condition; especially when we passed a few vehicles with issues during our 5-day experience.
I highly encourage the Africa experience in Tanzania for everyone, and strongly recommend Bonniface and Destiny Explorer for your trip!! We did a lot of research and this tour operator is one of the most affordable and you will definitely get the bang for your buck.

Every single part of our contact with Sunset has been amazing.
Nothing was too much trouble for Emma and Anna (despite my many questions!) and our safari was perfectly designed to meet our needs. We had told the team it was our honeymoon and we got such lovely treatment (and room decor!) at each lodge/camp because of this.
Our tour guide Rama was WONDERFUL. He was so much fun to be around, kind, caring and SO knowledgeable. He was able to spot things from miles away and I swear he has super powers! He made my dreams come true finding not 1 but 2 leopards in the Serengeti! He really is an asset to Sunset. Asante sana Rama!
Each day was as memorable as the last and each location so different.

Pauline, professional, kind and meticulous, listened to our every request, advising us in the best possible way in defining the trip. Daniel (the owner of the agency) who together with Pauline welcomed us warmly at the airport, handing us over to the care of our driver Sami. We spent the entire holiday with him and he was an unparalleled travel companion, capable, professional, patient and extremely helpful.
We were in Kenya from 9 to 16 January, we spent unforgettable days thanks to the perfect organization of our Safari. No inconvenience or setbacks, all far exceeding our wildest expectations. First stop the Maasai Mara: we stayed at the Zebra Plains Mara Camp, a well-kept and intimate structure in the immediate vicinity of the park. We will never forget our beautiful and spacious tent overlooking the river: the terrace allowed us to enjoy the landscape and observe a hippopotamus preparing to enter the water. The exquisite food and the kindness of the staff made us feel at home. The visit to a Maasai village, their dances and the welcome received made these three days spent at the Maasai Mara even more special and exciting. The next stop was Lake Naivasha: the boat trip and the walk along the lake gave us close encounters with zebras, gazelles, giraffes, pelicans and many other species of birds. In the afternoon we reached Hell's Gate and admired this spectacular landscape, the rocky walls, the greenery and the animals that live there. The walk made us discover the suggestive and endless canyon that crosses the park. The night was spent at the Kongoni Lodge (simple accommodation and good food) and then we left to reach the Amboseli park. Upon arrival, with Kilimanjaro in the background and the myriad of animals that populate the park, we had the sensation of living in a documentary. We stayed at the Sentrim Amboseli Lodge for two nights. The Lodge is located not far from the park entrance, the tents are comfortable (too bad, there was no mosquito net here) and the food is excellent. It was very nice to enjoy the company of the many animals that live in the green areas of the structure. Last day, transfer to Nairobi for departure, needless to say that earthquake returned to Italy with the sickness of Africa. It is certain that for the next Safari we will turn to Meek Trails Safari!!!

I'm dreaming of a canoeing safari for a whole year now, so this was something special - but all my expectations were met.
The communication was good from the beginning. Unfortunately the date had to be postponed due to unstable weather, but Issa, the owner of the company, explained everything to me so I felt in good hands.
When finally the day arrived, he and Tom, the guide, picked me up early and we went to Lake Manyara for a game drive. Both, Tom and Issa, are really enthusiastic and funny guys, so we had a great time. When we met other clients spring the game drive, Issa always asked about their safari, he was really interested in all of his clients.
I'm not just interested in seeing the Big Five, so Tom also was looking for other animals. He knew and explained a lot, I appreciated it a lot.
Finally there was the canoeing safari. It was really hot that day but still the two guides managed to show us a hippo. We got life jackets and instructions what to do and not to do, so I felt safe during the whole trip and free to enjoy.
