The guides were amazing
We just back from a 11 day week long study abroad experience in Africa with the guides Emmanuel and Moses. I was one of the leaders of the group and this was our first experience with this company booked trough Holbrook travel. This was our fourth time taking students to Tanzania and Africa with college classes and we were not sure what to expect . Moses and Emmanuel exceeded our expectations instantly! They took great care to make sure that all of students were taken care of , helped us to educate them concerning all aspects of ecology of the animals and plants of their country and most important provided an African experience that has clearly changed all,of their lives. Halfway through the trip we met up with the owner of the company Lucas who was clearly a very well known man who was respected and has had a great impact in the surrounding communities.. I would recommend this company above all,other companies for all,colleges and universities that decide to do a field biology or ecology trip like ours. Great trip
I loved the volume of animals we were able to see but I mostly enjoyed the Uganda people that I met. Our guides, porters , hotel staff everyone was very enlightening and interesting. Getting to know the Uganda culture firsthand sets me back to think that here in America we think it’s so rough — they do it everyday- with a smile.

A wonderfull experience with a very experimented guide.
We were very well welcomed by kindly people. They take care of us during the whole travel. We saw a lot of animals in their territory. The camp was comfortable and well organised. Andy is able to track the animals. He knows very well their habits and plants and minerals too. It was a great experience to have a safari with him and Russel who was a very good cook. So we want to come back with our family next year.

Most enlightening and fun experience I ever did!
I booked this trip for me and 4 friends (in our mid-twenties) in march through Mohamed and he was kind enough to go through all the questions we had for him. He ended up suggesting the perfect trip depending on our needs. We did a camping safari for 4 days, 1 night at Ngorongoro and 3 nights at Serengeti. Both destinations were simply amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better guide than Elly. Elly made this trip super fun and pleasant, on and off-road. His passion for the wildlife and the animals really transcribed onto us and he was kind to share all of his knowledge in a very enlightening way. This trip was not only amazing, but it also served as the best school we could have imagined to learn about the nature, the animals, the weather changes, the African cultures and much more. The weather was perfect and we saw all the animals we expected to see. I am already excited for my second safari trip to come with Mega Adventures!

The experience from beginning communications to final transfer far exceeded our expectations.
Chris was very quick to respond to communications, answered all my questions, met us locally, and delivered on what was promised. Our driver Silas was an excellent driver and of very good character.

Fantastic experience with Hekima safaris
We had an absolutely incredible time with Hekima safaris. When we began looking for safaris ahead of our trip, we were daunted by the huge cost of some of them.
We decided to go with Hekima because they were better value, had amazing reviews and throughout the initial process of organizing our trip were willing to accommodate all of our requests (we were quite specific in the itinerary we wanted to follow, and some other tour operators weren't as flexible).
When we arrived, we weren't disappointed. All of the staff at Hekima couldn't have been more accommodating, and they went out of their way to make everything perfect for us - even when we had a slight mishap and messed up our flight bookings, they were ready to rearrange our agreed itinerary at the last minute. We did a day safari in Arusha national park, followed by a 3 day 2 night camping safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro and then an overnight hike of Ol Doinyo Lengai (this hike is not for the faint hearted - if you do this, hiking boots and a head torch are a must!).
We couldn't have asked for more from our trip, and are so grateful to Hekima for making it such a great trip - we couldn't recommend them more!
