East Cape Tours delivered a fantastic Kruger experience!
This was our family's first visit to South Africa and we needed advice on the best place for a big-five safari. I looked around on the web and found East Cape Tours. It was a shot in the dark, but the reviews looked promising. Let me tell you, this company gets an A+. In a tight booking market, they found us the best possible luxury lodge inside Kruger National Park (Fitzpatrick's at Jock Lodge, see my review on Trip Advisor), and they put together a four-night/five-day package and guided us throughout the booking process. We paid them for everything in full 60 days before the trip, including for the airport transfers to/from Kruger, and crossed our fingers that all would be well upon our arrival. And it was; everything was perfectly arranged. I am pleased to report that we had zero hassles with the transfers and the lodge. Everything was taken care of by East Cape! Our agent was Nerine du Plessis. We highly recommend Nerine and would use her again. Thank you, Nerine and East Cape Tours, for making our family holiday so very special.

Trip of a lifetime
Pamela is one of the most professional trip advisor that I have ever come across. I contacted her on WhatsApp and told her about the places I wanted to cover. She customised an itinerary as per our requirement within few hours. I was little sceptical as we were travelling with a
5 year old. But Pamela won my confidence with her responsiveness and attention to minute details. As promised, she was there to receive us at the airport. She introduced us to Peter, our driver cum guide for next 5 days. Peter is a very safe driver, an exception guide and a very good human being. From the time we met him, his only aim was to make sure that we sight the big 5 in masai Mara. With his exceptional tracking skills backed by 12 years of solid experience, Peter made my dream of sighting the big 5 within first 2 hours of entering Masai Mara. The hotel in Naivasha (Sopa lodge) was very beautiful and cosy. In Masai Mara, we spent the first 2 nights at Azure Mara Haven. The tents were clean and well... Read more maintained and service was excellent. On the last day, we shifted to AA lodge. It was a beautiful property but the service was very poor and food was not good too. Delivered as promised.
We did a 9-day, four national park safari with this company in December 2017. Everything was organized by email some months in advance. Hannington, the owner, was prompt in his correspondence and was accommodating of our requests. Once he obtained the chimpanzee and gorilla tracking permits, he promptly emailed copies. Once we arrived in Kampala, we had a vehicle waiting at the airport that took us to the hotel directly. The next day, we left on our safari. Many of the meals and bottled water along with lodge accommodation was included as well the driver and the vehicle. All park entrance fees was paid for. We really did not have to pay for anything more. There were a couple of issues with lodges with regard to our medical needs and Hannington worked with us and the lodge to resolve the issues. We did not see the tree climbing lions but Hannington made extra effort to find them (but we still could not). The chimps and gorillas were the main attraction for us - both those went flawlessly.... Overall, I highly recommend this company and Hannington. He is eager to please his customers and will deliver as promised. The vehicle was reliable and did not break down even once despite the rough roads in parts of the journey. Hannington joined us (along with the driver) for the whole safari to make sure everything went smoothly. I thought this is a sign of him going above and beyond what is required of him.
There are many companies in Uganda and when booking from far away, it is difficult to know who is reliable. In our experience, this company and Hannington were very reliable. We are very happy with our decision. The trip itself was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Our guide Mr. Deogracio was very kind, helpful and a good driver. He knows a lot about the animals, flowers, his country and the history.
The lodges were clean with very good food and perfect service.
It was great to see the gorillas and the track was not so hard. There was also enough time to relax and admire the beautiful landscape.

Fantastic tailor made travel in Uganda
Intek Travel organised our tailor made family vacation travel in Uganda during ou Christmas get together 2017 vacations. The expectations of all five of us were met (aged from 18 to 55).The hotels and lodges were in beautiful settings, were very clean, comfortable, and service oriented. The food in Uganda is delicious ; nearly all restaurants served also very good indian vegeterian food. Ugandan people are overall very welcoming and merry. The safaris are breath taking. We visited Mburo, Bwindi, Queen Elisabeth and Murchisson Falls and also lake Bunyoni in 8 full days (it is a short time considering all we wanted to visit). But, we were able to visit so many parks, and without exhaustion thanks to the overall quality of the roads but mostly thanks to the good organisation of our travel by our Ugandan based travel agency , Intek Travel. Exceptional! From meeting at the airport, to the safari and the photos, everything was perfect!
Reflecting on our trip to Africa, many things come to mind, but by far the fondest memory was our time spent with Ash and Stefan during our four day guided photographic safari in Madikwe. Arriving at the beautiful lodge was only the start of the awesome things to come. We were blown away by the level of attention to detail and experience we were shown on this safari, both from Stefan as our guide and Ash as our photography expert. The organisation was superb, and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed. Our sightings were phenomenal and we walked away with out of this world photographs that we never imagined being able to capture! We have and will continue to highly recommend any of their safaris.

wonderful interesting experience
the tour satisfied my needs and wants beyond my usual expectations ..I enjoyed everything from the first day to the last.it was a unique experience with unique attractions and experience for every location we visited..the employees were nice and of help in case of any assistance required..thankyou guys for everything ..can't wait to tour with your next time.
