Our experience with Sheengai Pride Safaris was exemplary
5/5

Our experience with Sheengai Pride Safaris was exemplary. We provided the dates and they took care of everything from Airport meet and greet to Airport drop-off and everything in-between to create a seamless vacation.
Our guide spoke excellent English, and his general knowledge, from Tanzania, it’s peoples, culture, traditions and history, to his exhaustive knowledge of wildlife from A - Z, made every day/drive a knowledge-soaking experience.
To say Tanzanian roads, especially bush tracks, are in bone-jarring condition, is an understatement. Our guide made navigating crater sized pot-holes, deep sand and water-soaked muddy tracks, all whilst scanning the horizon for animals and carrying on a conversation seem like a Sunday drive – he took guiding and off-road driving to the next level. He not only knew where we needed to be for the most fantastic sightings, but knew the areas (Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro crater and conservation area, Ndutu and the Serengeti ) like the back of ... Read more his hand. In 8 days, we saw 17 Lions, 12 Cheetahs, 2 Leopards, hundreds of Giraffes, Zebra’s galore, many species of antelope, and of course millions of Wildebeest and their calves making the great migration.
Having last visited Tanzania in 2017 with a different operator, we were blown away at the level of service, professionalism and attention to detail by Sheengai Pride– too many too mention, however one which surpassed our expectations were our breakfast and lunch picnic hampers served on lovely clean table linen, flatware and plates – we did not see any other operator providing this level of service to their clients.

This was the most memorable safari we’ve ever experienced and in no small part thanks to Sheengai Pride’s lodge selection, attention to detail, high standards and last but not least, his truly amazing guide.

Well organised, excellent experience
5/5

We have done the 3 days 2 night Murchison Safari with Abraham as tour guide. Both him and driver were knowledgeable and friendly. We trekked rhinos and went on a boat trip on the Nile. We saw among other animals buffaloes, giraffes, antelopes, hartebeest and waterbucks, warthogs lions, crocodiles and hippos. The lodge was comfortable with nice food and friendly staff. It is worth the price!

Stacy Readal did a fabulous job in setting up our trip on very short notice.
5/5

Our guide/driver was Ebenezer. Ebenezer was a great driver (important as many of the roadways are narrow and dirt with ruts); had a knack for finding hiding animals; had incredible knowledge of all the types of wildlife we saw, including the plant life and birds; and was very personable (important as you spend a lot of time driving around in a Toyota Land Cruiser and at meals with your guide). I highly recommend him.

We stayed in some really nice camps (our two favorites were the Elwai Camp and Tarangire Tortilis Camp) but all of the camps had very friendly staff. The night prior to the Safari, we stayed at the Tumbili Lodge. Very nice accommodations with excellent food.

We saw lions (lots), leopards (2 and a cub, which we hear is rare), hyenas, cheetahs, baboons, giraffes, warthogs. antelopes, impalas, Rhinos (in the Ngorongoro Crater which is a must), elephants, hippos, ostriches, and large migrating herds (thousands) of wildebeasts and zebras.

We had an unforgettable vacation thanks to Nijia. they listened and adapted to our family (with children), always smiling, available and helpful. Very good value for money. nijia knows the country and the animals very well, it was fabulous! We were also able to get in touch with rugby clubs, our passion. moments rich in exchange. to do again without hesitation with this company

Worst Nightmare Ever

Avoid this company. The owner/manager Richard, lied to us. He did not respect the contract, put me in different accommodation, much cheaper and very low quality , than i have paid for. I have paid for gorilla habituation but instead of that i just got the regular 1 hour trekking, he ripped me off u$s 800, which was never refunded to me. The driver Dona who was part of the scam, tried to make me pay for a hotel in the middle of nowhere and when i talked to the police the money magically was sent to the hotel.

Please go with someone else to make you trip of a lifetime unforgettable.
Other companies will make your dream come true.

Amazing all around experience
5/5

We did a full week trekking excursion with Dav Safaris and it was great! Richard our tour guide/driver was excellent as he was always checking in on whether we needed to stop while we were on the road, he answered any questions we had, and he always had great stories to tell. This is particularly important if you are doing the full week tour where you are driving a lot throughout the country. Dav Safaris chose great accommodations with plenty of space, comfort, and friendly staff. The various treks we did were amazing. We saw Murchinson falls, we went to the Ziwa rhino sanctuary, we did a game drive, we saw the chimpanzees, and we saw the gorillas. Communication with Dav Safaris was great and they were always very attentive.

Every aspect was handled - we accomplished everything we wanted on safari
5/5

Gettin the variety of camps and lodges, to the multitude of animals seen, very very worthwhile trip. Gettin the point of arriving at the airport until we were dropped back at the airport.

Great value for money and our driver and guide, Alen, was always on top of everything. He also was so good at spotting animals at an incredible distance.

We stopped for lunch everyday somewhere en route and those lunches were the best meal.

I can't speak for other operators but Rajatiurs definitely delivered
