This was our first safari but it exceeded our expectations and gave us the experience of a lifetime.

South Africa is the ultimate adventure destination. The continent is hard to get to but once there, you really don't want to leave until you've seen it all. And you cannot see it all in just two weeks so it makes you want to plan your next trip to South Africa right after you return.

Once you get away from Johannesburg your understanding of South Africa will totally change, trust me. In my mind, the images from the movie District 9 or all the propaganda from the 80s sticks in my head.
My experience is totally different and has been reshaped by the people that I met and their sincerity. I'd go back a hundred times if I could.
If someone is offerring to arrange for your passage to Thornybush, they have your best interest at heart.

It's ideal in that you can go a relatively short distance from civilisation and be in the wild outdoors of nature. South Africa does offer that, although I do not have a comparison point with another safari-offering country.

South Africa is unlike any place I have ever experienced. It's modern yet basic, unique in it's own customs that draws one in personally.

South Africa is an amazing country for safaris, and there are a range of lodges catering to everyone's particular taste. Whether looking for the true bush experience or a luxury holiday adventure, South Africa has it!
South Africa has it all; from breathtakingly beautiful wildlife to (for those who seek that) interesting city-trips (Cape Town) and beaches, wonderful scenery (the Flower route and the Wine route)

For an American, there is nothing like actually going to Africa to see it in person. It was just an incredible experience.

I was very impressed by Cap town, Port Elizabeth and the surrounding areas and I would go back in a minute given the opportunity to visit some more of this great country.

The perfect tourist country. Beautiful countryside, friendly people, excellent food, plenty to do and see.
