SA in general? It’s nice bin muged en a lot of people want something from you. I’m not used
About the safari it was nice only 3 days is more then enough. I was lucky enough to see the big 5 in the Kruger park. But I would say the bush walk was boring so not really necessary if you ask me. Or you have to be lucky to see ontregeling wilde life. The night dive was super cool specially if you see animals even tho if the are elephants or a giraffe. I guess the don’t do this when ther are lions. So people who I was with did do a 5 day end even a 7 day but only 2/3 Kruger national park. So the rest of the time the wher in the range after seeing the range for 1 day it’s boring end I would say not worth to sty longer money wise. But over all I’m happy with my 3 days end I was done end ready to leave. Fiva safaris was super nice in general besides ower tour guide he was a bit grumpy also regretting tipping him considering his bad mood. We wher so happy to experience this as a group but we wher not aloud for my feeling to joke during the trip or to be over exited. Hope you have a better tour guide or at least that he has a better mood goin in to the Kruger park it’s for me a one lifetime experience end it’s not nice if some one is holding you back from enjoying it. But after all was it great end thenk you for this amazing experience. Oowh an other thing tipping is mostly for the survives we pay Al ready a lot for stying ther or make it more expensive so we don’t have to tip or make it an unforgettable experience that the crue is working on it becouse then I wanne tip end I did not do that even tho I was prepared for it I had a lot of cash with me. But the people working ther wher nice don’t get me rong but deff not feld like tipping for work that the have to do (including salary) but to make it an extra level of experience like (smiley Hakuna Matata) is a gift 💝

Contrasting
Loved Kruger and our guide. Crazy weather but the animals were very cool to see.
Tremisana was good and the Tree houses adequate.
Blackouts annoying but added to the vibe.

Diverse awesomeness
I was in Kruger National Park and also in a smaller game reserve near Johannesburg. In both experiences, I was able to be very close to nature and animals, which was an extraordinary experience. If you like nature, I definitely suggest doing a safari. The bush is really quiet, and I loved that the most. It was magnificent to see and hear Elephants in their natural habitat, playing in the water and among themselves. The people are extremely friendly and nice, and always open to answer to your questions about the area and about animals.
Johannesburg has its own vibes, and you feel how vibrant the city is.

Stunning
The safari was magnificent. We saw a ton of wildlife. All the guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. We roughed it and decided to do Glamping for our three nights stay. Everything was clean, safe., Staff was wonderful and made you feel right at home And they all made sure we were at our destinations on time. The chef created delicious meals we did not go hungry.
We couldn’t ask for better experience.

Chasing colors
Beautiful vegetation everywhere. Very active bird lives. Flowers and birds are the perfect combination of colors and shapes. Magnificent coasts and mountains. Although I wish humans have not set foot in this continent, so that wild animals are not blocked and persecuted from farms to farms.

Wonderful, beautiful country still trying to cast off the impacts of apartheid
Internal flights with Airlink are frequent, really great value and comfortable.
Capetown was as vibrant as I expected, excellent food and drinks quality and pricing, huge choice of both on the V&A Waterfront. Uber is you best friend for getting around anywhere, especially at night time for safety / peace of mind.
Capetown can be a very 'breezy' city, plan your tour activities - Table Mountain / Robben Island etc. based on the weather forecasts!! Book fast track access to both tours. Spend an afternoon or two watching the world go by from any number of V&A waterfront venues. The outdoor bar couches of the V&A Hotel offer the best view of the mountain.
WEAR SUNSCREEN in summer!!
Amakhala Game reserve in the Eastern Cape (near Port Elizabeth) is a wonderful destination for your 'safari', with Elephants, Lions, Cheetahs, Giraffes, Zebras, White and Black Rhinos, Warthogs, Porcupines, foxes, numerous antelope species, fascinating flora and fauna, especially if you stay with Woodbury Lodge, where the rangers are incredibly knowledgeable. The whole team here are really welcoming and professional, the facilities are top notch. My safari trip was perfectly organised by ATP (Africatravelportfolio).

Exciting, beautiful and unique
Our stay at Makweti was superb - hospitality, catering, service and over quality of experience cannot be faulted. The array of wildlife we saw on our morning and afternoon explorations and the immediate proximity to the wildlife was truly amazing - a special mention to Joseph our safari guide/host, his knowledge, patience and service was a highlight of our 4 day experience.

Eye opening
The 5 day private safari for 4 at the Kruger National Park was awesome. Not only did we see a large variety of animals in their natural environment, we were also very fortunate to have had Shoes Mathebula from Khalanga Safaris as our guide because he pointed out and explained many aspects of animal behaviour to us, which enriched the whole experience. Besides that he also prepared ‘local’ meals for us which we enjoyed and the accommodations in the parks were very comfortable . Having never been on safari before, we did not know what to expect but we came away rating the Kruger safari as one of our best holiday trips. Besides the safari, we also spent 3 days in Cape Town which was not enough to appreciate what it had to offer. Having been warned about security issues, we were careful and attentive and did not have any problems during our self drive around the scenic costal route . Our stay at the V&A waterfront was exceptional for the ambience and proximity to food and shopping. I would recommend South African as a holiday destination.
