Nice people, lovely place and wonderful weather
A lovely holiday in the North East of the country. A few days safari where we saw the big 5 amongst other animals and birds. We also had a days drive around the scenic areas with lots of lovely views and tales of the history.
Great staff at the hotels we were in, helpful with travel, tourist information and dietary requirements.

Far beyond our expectations
Our first Safari and it was breathtakingly good, so far beyond our expectations. The guide and tracker were amazing and we got so close to the animals, particularly the big 5 which we encountered on numerous times, as the guide was allowed to go of the tracks and into the bush to view. We saw very young, lion cubs, elephant twins, rhino and Hyena pups. I was slightly concerned about going in April knowing the bush would thick after the rains but it did not matter and a bit as the guide and tracker new where to look. We even experienced a water buffalo stampede (albeit we only heard it as it was dark) as two male lions tried unsuccessfully for a kill. We're not birders but saw so many different birds I'm still trying to remember the names and identify them. Five different eagles, three owls and all the other smaller birds. sunshine wildlife and wine - all I need
South Africa is a great destination. It has sunshine, excellent wine and good wild life. At present it is also very good value for money. I was just a little disappointed at how long it took Inverdoorn to tell me my pick-up time from my hotel. It cost me half a day waiting for this information.

My "go to" place where I can relax
I have now been to South Africa five times since my first visit in 2012 where I fell in love with most of the places I have visited - some not so much but when it's organised tours you don't have a choice. However this time I arranged it myself and was able to go where I wanted - which was Kruger National Park. That place is just amazing and you can feel yourself relax just being there - if you happen to see the big five every day then so much the better! I can't wait to go back

Amazing trip
Krugar was absolutely amazing. We were able to see the big 5 and so many others. The animals were plentiful, our guides were very fun and knowledgeable. Safety was first and foremost. I would love to go again. Everyone was so friendly. I live outside yellowstone national parkand this is 1000x better!

Amazing wildlife, amazing people, amazing food
South Africa is a place to visit if you look for a true adventure with breathtaking nature, unique cultutr and premium food / wine. It is a very save place and comparable cheap given the high quality products and service you get. March has been a great month to visit Sourh Africa as temperature wise it was mild,dry and less crowded as in other months. South Africa, a top destination to spend some quality time with your loved ones!

An amazingly beautiful country, with the nicest people
We had an amazing experience in South Africa. We felt welcomed, people were warm and nice. We were so grateful for their hospitality and amazed by the beauty of the different landscapes. We´d definitely like to visit again.

Beautiful country
We went north from Johannesburg to Mbombela and did a panorama tour then had a couple of fabulous days at Umkumbe Safari Lodge.
The animal viewing was wonderful. Especially seeing leopard.

Loved, Kruger ( but wanted more drives off the paved roads), loved Addo Elephant Preserve, l
Loved Cape Town and region with all its problems and contradictions.
Loved Kruger, private tour local company great job.
Loved penguins and vineyards!
Table Mountain Sunset- Fab!
Robbins Isle tour special and moving.
Ocean too cold to swim in their summer. Cape of Good Hope, fab!
