The Machame Route is one of the most popular routes on Kilimanjaro. It is preferred because of its stunning scenery and good acclimatization profile, of ‘climb high, sleep low’ throughout the trek. Although the 6-day trek is challenging, climbers will enjoy navigating Barranco Wall and impressive Lava Tower during the trek. Climbers also experience the diverse climates of Kilimanjaro, including rainforest, montane forests and the arctic peak.
