Selous Game Reserve is one of the largest protected game reserve areas in Africa, covering over 55,000sq km. The park has a large number of animals and birds including lions, elephants, giraffes, African buffalo, cheetah, hippos and crocodiles. The park is also rich in habitats including wetlands bordering the Rufiji river and Miombo woodlands. With a Dar es Salaam start, Nyerere national park can also be accessed from Zanzibar by taking the ferry to Dar, or by flight. Ask us for details.
