The Lemosho route is a popular choice for Kilimanjaro climbers, offering flexibility in completing it in six or seven days. The seven-day option aids acclimatization with a gradual ascent. On day two, climbers go from Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira Camp 1, gaining 2,000 feet. The next day, they proceed to the less-used Moir Hut at 13,800 feet, preparing for higher altitudes. While early stages may differ, the Barranco to Barafu ascent and summit day are consistent.
