Mabamba one of Uganda’s most important birding sight is located 12km west of Entebbe can be accessed by both road and water. Famously known as home to the pre-historical Shoe bill stock, where you stand 80% chances of spotting the elusive bird. It’s also home for over 300 bird species eg. African Jacana, Black crake, Black-headed weavers, Papyrus Gonolek, Violet’s Black Weavers etc will not only catch eyes of birders but also none birders too.
