This private 3-day safari to Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park), starting from Zanzibar and traveling to Dar es Salaam by ferry before heading to Selous. Selous covers 5% of Tanzania's total land area, spanning approximately 54,600km² (21,081mi²). It is the largest wildlife reserve in Africa and Tanzania's most extensive protected area. Selous provides shelter for a large number of elephants, lions, buffalo, wild dogs, crocodiles and hippos. The Rufiji River is home to various birdlife.
