Enjoy a 4-day trek to Mt. Meru’s summit (4,566 m), Tanzania’s second-highest peak. Starting in lush forest teeming with wildlife like giraffes and buffalo, the trail ascends through alpine desert to a dramatic ridge along the crater rim. Located in Arusha National Park, climbs are guided by armed rangers. Hikers sleep in mountain huts and reach the summit at sunrise, with stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and the Meru Crater. A perfect warm-up for Kilimanjaro!
