Enjoy a two-day safari in Nyerere National Park, formerly known as Selous Game Reserve. Pick-up from the hotel or the airport in Dar es Salaam for a four to five-hour drive to Selous, arriving in time for a hot lunch at the camp or lodge. The Selous Game Reserve, covering 50,000km² (19,300mi²), is one of the largest protected areas in Africa and remains relatively undisturbed by humans. Selous is rich in elephant, cheetah, giraffe, hippo, crocodile and many other species.
