The Machame Route, known as the “Whiskey Route,” is one of Kilimanjaro’s most scenic and popular trekking paths. It offers diverse landscapes and good acclimatization, making it ideal for adventurous hikers. Important: This route is more physically demanding and requires good fitness, but rewards climbers with stunning views and a high success rate. It approaches the mountain from the southwest includes a challenging ascent of the Barranco Wall, offering both excitement and incredible panoramas.
