Kimana Amboseli Tented Camp is situated Northwest of Mt. Kilimanjaro, on the border with Tanzania and only 2km from Kimana Gate of Amboseli National Park. Amboseli National Park is best known for its large population of African bush elephants, 400 species of birds including water birds like pelicans, kingfishers, crakes, hamerkop and 47 raptor species & the local people are mainly Maasai tribe. Amboseli lies at the heart of Maasai community land, where pastoralists have coexisted with wildlife.
