Starting in lush rainforest, trekkers pass through moorland and alpine zones before reaching Kibo Hut for the midnight summit attempt to Uhuru Peak (5,895m). The route descends via the scenic Mweka Trail, providing a well-structured trek with good acclimatization and a high summit success rate.
