This 3-day budget trek takes you to the summit of Mount Meru, Tanzania’s second-highest peak at 4,566 meters. Known as Kilimanjaro’s “little brother,” Mount Meru offers spectacular scenery, diverse wildlife, and fewer crowds, making it a rewarding alternative or acclimatization climb. The trek begins at Momella Gate in Arusha National Park, winding through lush forests, alpine meadows, and dramatic ridges, before reaching the summit of Socialist Peak.
