Tsavo East National Park is the biggest park in Kenya. Its distinctive red dust soil attracts lively herds of elephants who enjoy rolling around in the mud and dust. Tsavo West contrasts with Tsavo East with green hills and springs filled with hippos and crocodiles. Amboseli National Park is smaller as compared but with just as much wildlife. The great herds of elephants are so populous here and Africa’s tallest peak, Mt. Kilimanjaro stands tall in the horizon.
