The optimal time for a visit to Augrabies Falls National Park is during the cooler months from April to September. This is also when the popular three-day Klipspringer Trail is open (it closes due to extreme heat from mid-October to the end of March). Augrabies has a to arid climate, and summer months can get incredibly hot. The park’s namesake waterfall is particularly impressive when in flood, usually from February to April.
