Nairobi to Amboseli

Your safari starts with a pick-up at 7:30am from your Nairobi hotel or airport, from where you will drive to Amboseli National Park.
You arrive in Amboseli shortly after noon and check into your lodge/camp, enjoy a hot lunch and rest before the afternoon game drive. At 4:00pm, depart for the afternoon game drive.
The highlight here is that Amboseli National Park has the greatest concentration of elephants in the world! The park is home to over 1600 elephants from 56 different families. Each of the elephants has a name and a photo attached to its name.
After the game drive, we will return to the lodge/camp, freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner.
Your overnight stay will be at Kibo Safari Camp.

Day 2

Have breakfast then prepare to go for the full day game drive.
You will have picnic lunch in the afternoon within the national Park with great views around you.
Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds, which are often seen against the backdrop of the snow-capped mountain. The park's diverse ecosystems, including wetlands, savannah, and acacia woodlands, provide excellent opportunities for wildlife photography and game viewing, making it a must-visit destination for safari enthusiasts.
You will later in the evening go back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3
Amboseli to Sweetwaters

We have an early breakfast at 6 am, then head for Ol Pejeta Conservancy. We will drive through the slopes of Mt. Kenya, cross the equator to Sweetwater's Game Sanctuary, and arrive at Sweetwaters, a private ranch and rhino sanctuary. We will arrive shortly after noon and check into your hotel, have a hot lunch and then have some time to rest. At 3.30 pm, we depart for the visit to the animal sanctuary in. After the visit to the animal sanctuary, we head back to the lodge to freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner.

Day 4

Have breakfast then prepare to go for the full day game drive.
You will have picnic lunch in the afternoon within the conservancy with great views around you.
We will visit the Sweetwater Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only one of its kind in Kenya. Here visitors can enjoy the unique opportunity of observing the orphaned chimps that vary in age from 2-15 yrs. Enjoy the sights and sounds of man's closest relative. It is also home to the last two of the northern white rhinos that remain in the world.
You will later in the evening go back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5
Sweetwaters to Masai Mara

Start your day with breakfast, then journey onward to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve.
Upon arrival in the afternoon, check in at your lodge, enjoy a freshly prepared lunch, and take time to relax while soaking in the surrounding wilderness.
At 4:00 PM, head out for a meaningful Maasai village visit, where you’ll learn about their traditions, customs, and way of life. This experience is complemented by a guided evening nature walk, offering stunning views and close insight into the area’s diverse flora and fauna.
Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge, ending on a calm, immersive note.

Today's itinerary is flexible and you can discuss with your guide and plan for the day’s schedule.
You can have a relaxed breakfast and depart for full day game drives around the park at 6:30 am with your picnic lunch. This will give you a chance to visit the Mara River where the migration happens during it’s time. Also, you'll have better chances to view wildlife all day and return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
A Masai Mara safari is an unmissable highlight of any holiday in Kenya.
