3-Day To Nyerere NP from Zanzibar Accom Inside the Park

Full-Day Game Drive

You will be picked up early in the morning from your hotel and transferred to the airport to catch your scheduled flight departing at 6:00 AM to Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will be welcomed by your driver–guide and begin a full day game drive across the park, exploring its vast landscapes and searching for wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and a variety of bird species. During the day, there will be a stop at a suitable location to enjoy a packed lunch before continuing the safari. In the late afternoon, the game drive will continue as wildlife becomes more active, and later in the evening you will be transferred to your camp located inside the park for dinner and an overnight stay.

Another full-Day Game Drive

After breakfast at the lodge, you will depart at 7:00 AM for another full day game drive in Nyerere National Park, as its vast size, being the largest national park in Tanzania, offers more areas to explore and increases the chances of encountering a wide range of wildlife. Accompanied by your guide, you will venture into different sections of the park, enjoying sightings of animals such as elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and various bird species while taking in the diverse landscapes. During the day, a stop will be made at a scenic location to enjoy a packed lunch before continuing the safari. If road conditions permit, you will also have the opportunity to visit the park’s hot springs, adding a unique experience to the day. In the late afternoon, you will return to the lodge where you can relax and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Morning Departure

After an early morning breakfast, you will depart from the lodge and transfer to the airstrip to catch your scheduled flight departing at 7:00 AM back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be met and transferred to your hotel, where you will be dropped off and can continue with your stay at leisure.
