After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your scheduled flight to Nyerere National Park, formerly part of the famous Selous Game Reserve. As you fly over Tanzania's diverse landscapes, you'll enjoy spectacular aerial views of rivers, forests and remote wilderness.

Upon arrival, your guide will meet you and begin your first game drive. Nyerere is home to large populations of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and predators such as lions and leopards. The park's extensive network of lakes and channels attracts abundant wildlife throughout the year.

As the sun begins to set, enjoy your first African safari sunset before heading to camp for dinner.

The Rufiji River ecosystem supports remarkable concentrations of wildlife, making it one of the best places in Tanzania to spot hippos, crocodiles and numerous bird species. Throughout the day, your guide will search for elephants, lions, antelope species and perhaps even the elusive African wild dog.

Enjoy lunch at a scenic picnic site overlooking the wilderness before continuing your afternoon safari.

After the excursion, transfer to the airstrip and board your flight to Ruaha National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy a short game drive en route to your lodge.
