Hope your flight is scheduled for an early landing. Upon arrival, our safari guide will pick you up and transfer you by road to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Have a stopover at the equator line for beautiful photos. Proceed to Mbarara Town, have an African traditional lunch en route, and check in to your accommodation in the evening.

Day 2

The day will begin with an early morning breakfast, take pleasure in the morning safari before sunrise which takes you towards the northern side of the park in search of elephants, lions, warthogs, and savannah bird species like eagles, falcon kites among others. After your amazing safaris drive to the lodge, relax at the poolside, have lunch, and embark on an afternoon boat cruise along Kazinga Channel where you are most likely to encounter the families of elephants, buffaloes, pods of hippos, crocodiles, and many waterbird species in congregations cooling off and which give an opportunity to take amazing pictures.

Day 3

After breakfast, drive to Kibale Forest and have a stretch at the equator line, en route to Fort Portal town situated at the foothills of the mountains of the moon. Have lunch and proceed to the forest, famous for chimpanzee trekking. It’s not only a habitat for chimpanzees but also other primates that you will encounter during the trek. In the evening you will go for the Bigodi wetland Sanctuary walk an initiative of the local community. The swamp is known for the rich diversity of birds like the Great blue turaco, primates mostly monkeys and butterflies.

Day 4

Chimpanzee Trekking

Chimpanzee Trekking

After breakfast, head to the Kibale Forest National Park offices. The activity begins at 8:00 am with a briefing on the rule of trekking the chimpanzees after which you will set off to trek the chimpanzees. Kibale is known for having the greatest concentration of primates in East Africa. Enjoy a guided nature walk in the tropical forest in search of wild chimpanzees.

Day 5

Have breakfast, the safari will continue with the transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. Enter the park through the Bugugu gate. You are likely to spot warthogs, giraffes, and other wildlife on your way to your accommodation. Later check in at Pakuba Safari Lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner, and overnight.

Day 6

Have early morning coffee at 6:00 am, set off for a morning game drive on the Northern delta with sightings of cape buffaloes, Jackson’s hartebeest, Rothschild’s giraffes, oribi, bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, warthog, and large carnivores including lions, leopard, and spotted hyenas.
You will return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation before setting off for the afternoon boat trip on the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the Murchison falls where the park derives its name. You will be able to sight hippos, crocodiles cooling off on the shores, and a variety of bird species. Continue with a hike to the top of the falls (if you like) for viewing of the other side of the falls where the Nile squeezes through a 7 meters’ gorge to the falls 45 meters, a very impressive view of the foaming waters rushing into the gorge with a deafening sound. Get back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Morning at leisure or You will today head out for a game drive to increase on your animal count, drive towards the delta to experience a great deal of wildlife and various bird species such as shoebill, grey crested crane, saddle-billed stock, and African fish eagle. Look out for big cats, herds of giraffes, elephants, and buffaloes. Return and proceed for sundowner safari for 2 hours with coffee and snacks while viewing herds of giraffes walking majestically and necking each other.

Have a delicious breakfast, and calmly drive back to Kampala en-route we will make a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary home of the Rhinos in Uganda for a guided Rhino walking safari and observe them in their natural habitat at a close and safe distance. Enriched with the experience of a lifetime, you will say goodbye to the pearl of Africa. Depending on the time of your departure you will be transferred to Entebbe airport for your flight back home.
