Day 1

Our safari guide will pick you from your hotel and you drive to Queen Elizabeth National park through the beautiful green landscape, forests and tea plantations. Stopover in Fort portal town for the African traditional lunch en -route and check in to your accommodation in the evening. Expect to see games before reaching at the lodge like buffaloes, elephants and antelopes. The drive as well offers an opportunity to view the foot hills of the Rwenzori mountains.

Day 2

The day will begin with an early morning breakfast, take pleasure in the morning safari before sunrise which takes you towards the northern side of the park in search for elephants, lions, buffaloes, antelopes, leopards, warthogs and savannah bird species like Eagles, Falcons kites among others. After your amazing safaris drive to the lodge, relax at the pool side have lunch and embark on afternoon boat cruise along Kazinga channel where you are most likely to encounter the families of elephants, buffaloes, pods of hippos, crocodiles and many water bird species in congregations cooling off and which give an opportunity to take amazing pictures.
Go for an optional sunset drive with a bottle of beer.

After an early breakfast drive to Bwindi through Ishasha sector in search for tree climbing lions, go for savannah packed lunch at Ishasha river. While enjoying the lunch you will be viewing hundreds of hippos playing and chilling in the river, en route to Bwindi and check in the evening.

Day 4

Gorilla Trekking and community experience

Wake up early in the morning for a cup of coffee and full breakfast, drive to the park office for briefing and grouping then start your amazing experience by tracking the mountain gorillas through the richest ecosystem in Africa. The park provides the habitat of over 100 species of mammals, over 300 species of birds,200 species of butteries and many different bird species.
The trek may take 4-5 hours depending on where you find gorillas, once you allocate the mountain gorillas, the one hour you spend with gorillas is the life time experience. Later in the afternoon drive to lake Bunyonyi with an experience of the communities.

Day 5

You will take a break for lunch in Mbarara town, proceed through ranches of the famous long horned cattle to the Uganda equator line for the quick stretch, photos and souvenir shopping en route to Entebbe airport.
