Day 1

Pick up and an optional city tour in Kampala

Pick up and an optional city tour in Kampala

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport: on arrival, you will be picked up by your driver guide who will transfer you to your overnight accommodation.
For early arrival, you can undertake optional short city excursions and visit a few interesting attractions, like the Uganda national mosque, local markets, Uganda Wildlife Education Center, national museum etc.

Day 2

Transfer to Kibale forest National Park

Transfer to Kibale forest National Park

Hotel pick up and set off to Kibale National Park. Drive past the magical landscapes in Mityana and Mubende districts where you will take some interesting pictures.
Continue through Fortportal town for lunch and finally Kibale National Park. Arrive at the lodge in the early afternoon and take some rest before proceeding out for an afternoon crater lakes tour or community walk.

Day 3

Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

After an early breakfast, drive to Kibale Forest National Park a tropical rainforest or you can call it the Primate Capital of the world with 13 species of primates and check in for a briefing. You will later on be divided into small groups and enter the forest with a park ranger. This activity usually takes around three hours including a full hour of their company. You are advised to carry enough drinking water. After Lunch, you will proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Today begins with an early morning game drive. After lunch you will go for a Boat cruise on Kazinga Channel and after that, you will go for an evening game drive to look for animals. There is an opportunity to see animals like elephants, lions, leopard and lots of birds.

After breakfast, you shall proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On your way to Bwindi, you will visit the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park called Ishasha famously known for its Tree Climbing Lions. You will have lunch along the way.

Day 6

Gorilla Tracking Experience

Gorilla Tracking Experience

After an early breakfast, you will drive to the briefing point in the forest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to get to be enlightened about your adventure with the Mountain Gorillas. You are advised to carry enough drinking water and a lunch box. At a cost of 15 US dollars, you can get a potter to carry your bag and give you a hand in slippery or steep parts of the forest. After the briefing, you are distributed into groups of eight and led by a park ranger into the forest. A rain gear is important considering that Bwindi is a tropical rainforest.

After your morning breakfast, you will undertake the golden monkey tracking where you have a chance to encounter the other critically endangered apes known to exist only in the Virunga massif in this part of the world. Return from this adventure and relax at the lodge or take a short community tour to Batwa villages.

Proceed to Lake Mburo National Park. Have a game drive on your way in. this is the smallest savannah park but heavily populated. Its gives good break from a gorilla safari or even a fresh start for a safari depending on the route plan of your Safari. As you drive through easy to see are Zebras, Impalas, Waterbucks and the list goes on. Please note that on a good day you can see a leopard but better still during the night game drive which can be arranged.

Today begins with coffee and a walking safari into the wild L. Mburo in search of wildlife. After the adventure, return to the Lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, you will embark on your return journey. Lunch stopover at the equator and proceed to Entebbe for departure.
