Day 1

Early in the morning (6am), you will be picked up by our Driver guide from your prefered location and embark on a road trip to further western Uganda, aiming the Gorilla land of Bwindi Impenetrable forest National park. This is a long day drive of approximately 6-8 hours with lunch stop over en route. Though long, the drive takes you through different features to include tropical rain forests, savannah fields and the terraced hills of Kigezi famously known as the Switzerland of East Africa. We shall have a Stopover at the Uganda Equator Monument for a picture moment and a Lunch stopover at Igongo Restaurant. Drive to the lodge for relaxation as you wait for the next day’s adventure with dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Wake up early morning for Breakfast dand rive to the park headquarters where you will be briefed by the Bwindi national Park rangers and allocated a gorilla family to track.
This will be a once in a lifetime experience as you watch the mountain gorillas live their daily life of feeding, playing around and Grooming themselves. The gorilla trekking activity takes 2 to 8 hours sparing one hour spent with the mountain gorillas.
You will then Transfer to Ishasha Region (South Western of Queen Elizabeth National Park) where shall take a 2 hours’ Evening Safari Drive In search of the tree-climbing lions. Imagine how amazing it is to watch the lions in trees. This drive will also be determined by how long the Gorilla Trek lasts.
Note: Sighting these cats up in the Trees is not 100% Guaranteed. Sometimes they are spotted lying on the Ground and the park being close to congo, they do cross to the othe park in Congo. However we are positive you will Spot them.

Day 3

Have an early morning breakfast and Depending on the Weather conditions and Nature of the road; you will do a short 2 hours game Drive in Ishasha region again and then start your journey to the Northern Part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Head out to the Lodge for checkin and start off your Scenic Crater Drive in the Northern Part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will transfer back to the lodge for relaxation as you prepare for the next day’s Safari Adventure.

Day 4

Arise up early with a cup of coffee and drive off for your safari game drive in the Plains of Kasenyi with chances of spotting a lot of wildlife like elephants, kobs, Lions among others. The safari Game Drive takes 2 to 3 hours and later on we shall go for an Afternoon Boat Cruise at 2pm. The Boat cruise is undertaken on the Kazinga Channel, a 40KM water channel connecting Lake George in the West to Lake Edward in the Eastern Part of the Park. While on the Boat Cruise, there higher chances of spotting Elephants Quenching down their thirst on a hot afternoon, Basking crocodiles, Wallowing Buffalos, A lot of Birds, Large concentrations of Hippos Among others. Drive Back to the Lodge for Dinner.

Day 5

Kyambura Gorge Chimpanzee Tracking

Kyambura Gorge Chimpanzee Tracking

Wake up to have breakfast and later drive to Kyambura gorge hiking starting point. At the starting point, you will briefed about
the gorge, day activities and what to expect during the gorge walk by UWA ranger guide and then, set off for the guided nature and primates walk inside the gorge. The walk will take you through the thick forest canopy and riverine forest trees in search for the chimpanzees and and other species like the olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys and many more. Kyambura Gorge is also a shelter to a several different bird species mostly forest bird species. The time taken before meeting the chimpanzees is not known but one you meet them, you will have a maximum of 1 hour to stay with them, take photos and ask as many questions as you would want. After your chimpanzee and nature walk, return to your accommodation to have lunch. Spend the rest of the Afternoon relaxed at the lodge.
