Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed by your safari guide. After a short briefing, you’ll begin your journey northward towards Samburu National Reserve, located in Kenya’s rugged Northern frontier. The scenic drive passes through central Kenya’s agricultural zones and crosses the equator at Nanyuki before descending into the semi-arid lowlands of Samburu.
You’ll arrive at your lodge in time for check-in and lunch. After settling in and enjoying some rest, you'll head out for a late afternoon game drive in the reserve. Samburu is known for its dramatic landscape and its unique wildlife not found in southern parks. These include the reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and the long-necked gerenuk — collectively known as the "Samburu Special Five". As the sun sets, you'll return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today is dedicated to discovering the rugged beauty and biodiversity of Samburu. After an early breakfast, you will embark on a morning game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River, where animals gather to quench their thirst. The river is a lifeline for the reserve and attracts elephants, lions, leopards, and crocodiles.
Return to the lodge for lunch and leisure time, then head out for an afternoon game drive as the light softens — perfect for photography. If you wish, you can visit a nearby Samburu village (optional, at an extra cost) to learn about the customs and traditions of this semi-nomadic community. Your dinner will be served at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

After breakfast, depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy, nestled on the equator with views of snow-capped Mount Kenya. You’ll arrive at Maisha Sweetwaters Camp inside the conservancy in time for lunch and rest.
In the afternoon, you’ll visit the renowned Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary for chimp tracking, the only place in Kenya where you can see rescued chimpanzees. Learn about their stories and how they are rehabilitated. Afterward, head out for an evening game drive (optional, at an extra cost) in the conservancy. Ol Pejeta is home to the largest population of black rhinos in East Africa and the last two Northern white rhinos on Earth.

Today begins with an early morning game drive through the conservancy's varied habitats, offering a high chance of spotting the Big Five — elephants, lions, rhinos, leopards, and buffaloes — as well as African wild dogs and Jackson’s hartebeests.
Return for breakfast, then visit the Northern white rhino enclosure, a heart-touching conservation project. Later, tour the Morani Information Centre (optional, at an extra cost) to learn about anti-poaching efforts and rhino ecology. You may also book an optional night game drive or canine unit demonstration (optional, at an extra cost) to get a deeper understanding of how the conservancy protects its wildlife. Both lunch and dinner will be served at your camp.

The Masai Mara is renowned for its exceptional population of big cats, large herds of plains game, and, if you're visiting between July and October, the thrilling spectacle of the great wildebeest migration. You can wind up the day if time allows, by visiting the nearby Maasai village (optional, at an extra cost) in the afternoon to immerse yourself in the tradition and culture of Kenya's most iconic communities.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Enkorok Mara Camp.

After breakfast, depart the Mara and drive toward Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort. In the afternoon, visit Hell’s Gate National Park, one of Kenya’s most unique parks — famous for its dramatic cliffs, gorges, hot springs, and geothermal activity.
Unlike other parks, Hell’s Gate allows walking or cycling among wildlife such as zebras, gazelles, and giraffes, offering a refreshing and interactive experience. You can also explore the Hell’s Gate Gorge, known for its scenic rock formations and natural hot geysers.
Return to your resort for an evening at leisure by Lake Naivasha. You may opt for a boat ride (optional, extra cost) to see hippos and abundant birdlife, including fish eagles and pelicans. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the resort.

The park also hosts lions, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, and hundreds of bird species. As the sun sets, capture the golden hues over the mountain before returning to Ol Tukai Lodge for dinner and overnight.
