You will explore the vast wilderness, spotting elephants, lions, hippos, and more.

You'll have another thrilling full-day safari in one of Africa’s largest parks. This is the chance to see rare species like wild dogs & sable antelopes.
If the roads are accessible, then you will visit the hot springs, which are located in the park. In the evening hours, you will start heading back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You will depart in the morning after breakfast and start your safari to Mikumi National Park, which will approximately will take like 5 hours. Upon arrival, you will do a Maasai culture visit where you will get to learn their way of life, traditions, and animal keeping, You will then go to your next accommodation for an overnight stay at Camp Bastian.

Following breakfast, you'll embark on a morning game drive, searching for elephants, giraffes, lions, and hippos at the renowned Hippo Pools. You'll also encounter warthogs, buffalo, and elands. Mikumi boasts stunning savannas adorned with baobabs, teeming with diverse wildlife and birdlife. The park is renowned for its exceptional concentration of animals,
including the magnificent sable antelope, elusive African hunting dogs, and wildebeest. The southern regions are characterized by gentle slopes and vast miombo woodlands, creating a truly spectacular landscape.

After an early breakfast, you will depart your lodge for a final morning game drive in Ruaha National Park, Tanzania’s largest and wildest park. This is your last chance to spot Ruaha’s famous predators—including lions, leopards, and cheetahs—as well as massive elephant herds and rare antelope species like kudu and sable. The park’s dramatic baobab-studded landscapes and the Great Ruaha River provide a stunning backdrop for your last safari moments here.
Around noon, you will begin your scenic transfer to Mikumi National Park (approx. 4–5 hours’ drive). The journey takes you through rural Tanzania, offering glimpses of local villages, sunflower farms, and the vast miombo woodlands. Upon arrival in Mikumi, you’ll check into your mid-range lodge.

After a hearty breakfast at your lodge, you will embark on a final morning game drive in Mikumi National Park, often referred to as the "Serengeti in Miniature" for its abundant wildlife and open savannah plains. This last safari offers another opportunity to spot lions, giraffes, zebras, elephants, and the iconic Mikumi buffalo herds, along with a variety of birdlife, all against the stunning backdrop of the Uluguru Mountains. By noon, you will conclude your game drive and begin the scenic journey back to Dar es Salaam (approximately 5–6 hours), traveling through Tanzania’s vibrant countryside, passing bustling local markets, lush plantations, and traditional villages. Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam in the late afternoon or early evening, you will be comfortably dropped off at your hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure with memories of Tanzania’s incredible wildlife and landscapes.
