Your first stop is at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Elephant Orphanage, a sanctuary dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of orphaned elephants. Here, you’ll witness young calves being bottle-fed and cared for by their keepers, many of whom act as surrogate mothers until the elephants are strong enough to be released back into the wild.
Continue your conservation journey with a visit to the Giraffe Centre, home to the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe.
