It feels wild. Not too many other people about. You can drive yourself if you want. Affordable.

Etosha is a beautiful wild space where you can quickly get really close to nature.

Everyone in our group loved Etosha. The scenery is stunning particularly out round the pan and the facilities were excellent to return home to. Even though it was the wet season we saw lots of game and the highlight was seeing - and videoing - a cheetah kill on the edge of the pan, where a mother winged a springbok so that her cub could make his kill.

Best place in Namibia to experience a safari.

Etosha can be crowded but the wildlife and waterholes are spectacular

We've seen the most animals in this NP. It was absolutely fabulous! The park is quite flat, Ethosha pan is beautiful.

We were there in the wet season, still plenty to see including lots of new born animals. Advantage was the quiet roads and camps.

The experience of Namibia was good, but I prefer the bush as opposed to the Namibian landscape. Likewise I prefer bush photography to water-hole photography. Just a matter of preference.

Great wildlife experience but disliked the fact that safaris may even be done with big busses through the park

Etosha is a scenic and unique wildlife destination, very different to other parks with little greenery, but beautiful in its own right. There is an abundance of wildlife although the Big Cats are not as common as in other African National Parks. The camps and lodges are all of a good standard and although there are a lot of self drivers it is still very easy to feel like you are on your own in the vastness of the park. Great and highly recommended destination.

Etosha is wonderful, we had amazing encounters with lions and elephants and a host of other animals. The bird-watching is great too. It is flat and dry though, so the beauty is on the austere side. And the accommodations are too comfortable!
