Our safari with Kentau was amazing! We saw wonderful places, the organization was perfect and I wouldn’t change a thing.
We really liked the lodges and hotels they assigned to us and felt very comfortable, our absolute favorite was Ziwani, an unforgettable place!
Dominic was truly kind because he listened to my needs and always accommodated me, so we were able to plan the perfect trip for our family.
Our driver, Modi, was absolutely fantastic! We couldn’t have asked for anything better. He explained so many things to us, fulfilled all our requests, and is genuinely a wonderful person. I wish him all the best!
So I absolutely recommend booking your safari with Kentau, you won’t regret it!

This African safari was one of the most vibrant and unforgettable journeys of our lives. The majestic nature, the endless expanses of the savannah, the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, and, of course, the wildlife in all its pristine beauty—all of it is beyond words. Every encounter with animals was like a small miracle, filled with delight and respect for this amazing world.
A special, sincere thank you to our guide Kiba,for her professionalism, attentiveness, deep knowledge, and passion for her craft. Thanks to you, the safari became more than just a trip, but a true immersion into African life, full of interesting stories, caring care, and a feeling of complete safety. Thanks to Kentau Safaris and personaly, to Mr.Dominic Mwakunghu, for the emotions, impressions, and memories that will stay with us forever!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Kentau Safaris.

From the very beginning, the communication was smooth, clear, and very professional. Everything was well organized, and we always felt informed and taken care of.

Our guide (Modi) was truly exceptional kind, helpful, honest, and genuinely committed to giving us the best possible experience. You could really tell he wanted us to enjoy every moment, and that made all the difference.

The accommodations were outstanding and exceeded our expectations. Every overnight stay was comfortable, beautiful, and perfectly arranged.

In just three days, we saw and did so much that it honestly felt like we had been traveling for an entire week. The schedule was quite full and sometimes a bit busy, but for us that was absolutely perfect. We loved making the most of every moment.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience that we will never forget. We highly recommend Kentau Safaris!

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed having 3 safaris’ with Kentau Safari in January 2026. Dominic coordinated my trip and he was top notch in coaching me on what safaris to take as well as managing my trips with the local lodges and the related payments. At first, I was reluctant to hire a local safari operator (Kentau), due to all the illicit scamming going on throughout the world. But Dominic provided 3 references and they all checked out positively including a recent certificate from the Kenyan Tourist agency. With that in mind, I can save lots of time for future interested parties that Kentau Safari’s is LEGITIMATE and an outstanding tour operator. Our guide, driver, coach and friend Fred, did an excellent job in navigating the many potholes, speed bumps, trucks and regular rough safari bumps. Fred was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the safari’s; birding, mammal identifications, Kenya history, cultural and customs of the many tribes that can be found in Kenya, etc. William also participated in my 3rd safari, and he did a fine job. To sum up, Dominic and Kentau Safari’s did an excellent job through all facets of our safari’s, and I would highly recommend them to any future customers.

In January 2026, my mother and I took part in a safari tour organized by Kentau. The safari lasted four days and we visited three national parks. We started at Tsavo East, where we were able to observe red-backed elephants from a fantastic distance and were lucky enough to see many lions. The second national park was Amboseli, where we admired the sunrise with Kilimanjaro rising magnificently in the background. Here, too, we saw lots of animals, including a huge herd of migrating elephants and a lioness with her four cubs. The final stop on our trip was Taita Hills National Park, where we managed to see a pregnant lioness and a maned lion from incredibly close up. The hotels were breathtaking and the food was impeccable. Kentau is a professional team and everything was organized to a very high standard. Dominic responds quickly to every question and everyone is very helpful. We cannot thank our tour guide, Moddy, enough. We gained a wealth of knowledge, as Moddy told us interesting facts throughout the trip. He is not only a very good tour guide, but also a kind-hearted person, full of energy and smiles. Overall, I highly recommend this team, and if I go again, there is no question that I will choose them!
