Amazing Botswana experience

Chose wild spirit because they were very quick to respond and very flexible in the itinerary.

The guide, Fred, was very knowledgeable and had 20+ years of experience. I swear he could sometimes smell an animal, it was a bit absurd…

We saw almost every single animal we wanted to see, except the cheetah and honeybadger. We did see 4 leopards with an small leopard cub being 1m from the car. So I’d say it was extremely successful.

Camping in the wild was amazing and thrilling. We had hyenas, elephants and hippos visit us at night and during the day. 1 of the nights the whole campsite got trashed by a hyena 😂

Thanks wild spirit and especially Fred for giving us this unforgettable vacation!

The trip was amazing. We truly enjoyed every single moment, sharing the experience with nature and the animals. The camp was very well organised and it was extremely comfortable.
GB, MT and Confort were all fantastic. GB was very patient and always adapted to our pace. It was clear how much he enjoyed his work. He knew the area incredibly well and made us feel safe and comfortable at all times. He is a truly outstanding guide.
Empty was wonderful at cooking delicious meals and he has such a joyful personality and a great way with people.
In summary, we had an incredible time. Thank you so much for everything!

A Dreamlike Experience in the Okavango Delta & Moremi

I cannot recommend Wild Spirit Travel’s safari highly enough. This was my very first safari, and sharing it with my 13-year-old son made it the single best trip of our lives. From start to finish, Fred and his team were unbelievably passionate, friendly, and flawlessly organized.

Accommodations & Dining
The lodge was wonderful, and the food was genuinely among the best meals I’ve ever had. Every dish was outstanding—from the tomato pasta, curry, and scrambled eggs to the incredible full-course dinner on our final night (soup, salad, steak, and dessert). The quality was on par with any top-tier fine dining restaurant.

Guiding & Hospitality
Fred is an exceptional host—warm, genuinely funny, and well-loved by everyone in the region. As non-native English speakers, we especially appreciated how patient and thoughtful he was, always communicating clearly and ensuring we felt completely comfortable. He thought of every little detail, offering cold drinks when it was hot and warm blankets when the temperature dropped.

Game Drives & Highlights
The game drives were the absolute highlight. Thanks to Fred’s wealth of experience and passion, we encountered almost every animal imaginable: predators (lions, leopards, and cheetahs), rare African wild dogs, wildebeests, buffalo, giraffes, elephants, and impalas.
The bush walk on our final day was equally incredible, and watching the sunrise over the Okavango Delta felt straight out of a dream. Above all, they prioritized guest safety at every step. Every single aspect of this safari was truly top-notch!
