Our seven-day safari with Wilderness Insights Safaris was an absolute dream and exceeded even our highest expectations!

Our journey began with one day in Tarangire National Park, followed by a day at Lake Manyara, then four incredible days in the breathtaking Serengeti, and finally, as the perfect grand finale, a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater.

What we experienced during these seven days was simply unbelievable! Not only did we see the famous Big Five, but we also witnessed an astonishing variety of wildlife in their natural habitat. The spectacular landscapes, incredible animal encounters, and countless special moments will stay with us for a lifetime.

A very special compliment goes to our guide! He was not only exceptionally professional and knowledgeable, but also incredibly friendly, attentive, and dedicated. His experience, extensive knowledge of wildlife, and genuine passion for nature made our safari truly extraordinary. We felt completely comfortable, safe, and well taken care of throughout the entire journey.

The overall organization was also outstanding from beginning to end. Everything was perfectly planned, seamlessly coordinated, and absolutely reliable. We were able to fully relax and immerse ourselves in the fascinating wildlife and unforgettable experiences.

Route: fly Arusha to Seringeti: 2 days Seringeti, 1 day Ngorongoro, 1 day Tarangire.

My partner & I had an absolutely unforgettable safari experience! A massive thank you to our guide, Barney, whose sharp tracking skills and extensive knowledge made every single game drive special.

Thanks to Barney, we managed to see the entire Big Five and got into fantastic positions for photos. I was particularly thrilled with all the great bird photography opportunities (many lifers for me!), as well as capturing brilliant shots of the wildlife and landscapes.

On top of that, I’m vegan, and the team catered to my diet seamlessly—providing delicious, suitable plant-based replacements with great vegan (warm! In tins) lunches out on the game drive and fantastic dinners at the lodges every day.

My first trip to the Serengeti was nothing short of exceptional, and John deserves nearly all the credit. His expertise is second to none, and his deep love for the local wildlife transformed our safari into an unforgettable experience. Beyond tracking animals, John kept our drives fascinating with rich insights into local wildlife and culture. He was also remarkably patient with my endless photo-taking—even when stopping for the same animal for the tenth time! I wouldn't hesitate to book with John again and highly recommend him to anyone heading to Tanzania.
