An Amazing Safari Experience with an Excellent Guide

We had a great safari experience with Thamani African Safaris and would recommend them to other travelers.

Our guide, Jackson, was excellent—professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He helped us spot many animals and made the safari truly memorable. The vehicle was in great condition, and the tented camps during the first two nights were also well arranged. Before our trip, Greater gave us a detailed briefing about important things to know, which was very helpful.

Communication was generally good, and the overall value for money was reasonable. There was one small issue with our transfer in Zanzibar: the driver was originally supposed to take us directly to Stone Town, but took us to our hotel first, which meant an additional transfer had to be arranged. Greater helped resolve the issue promptly.

Overall, we were happy with our experience. The safari itself was fantastic, and both Greater and Jackson contributed greatly to making it so enjoyable. I would recommend Thamani African Safaris to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.

Greater provided us with a SIM card, which was very convenient, and their service was very attentive, caring about our Safari experience the entire time. Our guide, Jackson, was very experienced and showed us spectacular scenes such as hunting, eating, and antelope crossing the river. At the same time, I thought the value for money was excellent, and the accommodations along the way were all quite good. I think I will always cherish this place, and I will come back if I have the chance.

We had a fantastic time! Maygreater delivered everything as promised. Maygreater, joseph and Felix went above and beyond to provide the best safari experience. I can only recommend Thamani safaris to everyone going to kenya and Tanzania and definitely allow Maygreater to customize your itinerary. Asante Sana!! Abraham and his team arranged everything perfectly.
The pick-up, the first plane ride,
Pick ip from the strip, first tame drive, prep for the balloon safari, picking me up after the safari, a real safari yo North looking for the migration ( which we found), and back to the beautiful lodge which they selected.
We were delighted to have animals roaming the property.
Into The Wild was the perfect backdrop for a beautiful 60th birthday photo shoot.
The staff also performed and brought me a cake for my birthday. And they just happened to have one of my favorite things for my birthday dinner- BARBQUE.
Jackson, our driver, continued the safari back to Arusha. We sighted a few more animals, stopped for a view the Ngorongoru Crater, and arrived back in Arusha for our flight to Zanzibar.
(They even kept some of our luggage for us.)
