Superb Safari provider
We have nothing but great things to say about Kajie safaris. From looking to book an Ugandan safari in the first place to living the dream, Kajie safaris have been fantastic.
Importantly from the beginning, their replies were prompt and their goal was to tailor the experience to our budget and expectations. When airline flight times changed and so did the itinerary, we understood that making things work seamlessly was their goal.
All the accommodation was first class. A special shout out to Kigambira Safari Lodge, Mahogany Springs and Chimpnest that delivered a flawless experience. All lodges provided great breakfasts and three course meals. We got used to the fresh tasting organic produce through out.
We have to give a massive thank you to our Safari guide and driver Bosco who looked after us all so well throughout our tour. His knowledge of animal and bird life was second to none. And you could see that he was well loved and respected amongst peers and colleagues too. We felt very safe and well looked after in his care. We saw the big five and he even took his time to make sure we saw the prehistoric looking Shoebill too. We had wildlife experiences with Bosco that will stay with us forever.
I hope you choose Uganda. I hope you choose Kajie Safaris. From Gorillas to chimps, walking with Giraffes, experiencing the most powerful waterfall in the world, and the kindness of the people, it was more than a holiday, it was a great life experience.

A 100 out of 100 Uganda Safari! Exceptional experience with Kajie Safaris and our guide Benjamin
If you are planning a trip to Uganda, look no further: Kajie Safaris is simply the best choice you can make. From the very first email to our departure, the organization was flawless, professional, and tailored to our needs. A special thanks to Maxine and Josephine from the office for their promptness, patience in accommodating our requests, and perfect coordination of our 12-day luxury itinerary.
But the real highlight of our trip was our guide, Benjamin. He is not just a driver; he is an outstanding professional with encyclopedic knowledge of the wildlife, the parks, and the culture of Uganda. He was incredibly fun, always smiling, and knew exactly how to make every single day special. Thanks to his sharp eyes, we spotted animals we would have otherwise missed. Furthermore, he was incredibly attentive to my needs: I have a knee issue, and he made sure to coordinate with the rangers in Bwindi to assign us a gorilla family that didn't require overly strenuous trekking.
Every lodge selected for us was top-tier, but a special mention goes to the Tabebuia Spa & Safari Resort in Kibale: literally paradise on earth, a place that stole our hearts, impeccably managed by Jessica and her staff.
Kajie Safaris delivered a dream vacation, a true 100 out of 100. We couldn't be happier. Highly recommended!

Forever in our hearts
I consulted many tour operators while planning my trip to Uganda, but the moment I spoke with Ronald, the owner of Kajie Safaris, I had absolutely no doubts: I instantly knew I was in the right hands. It wasn't just a matter of itineraries, accommodations, or costs. It was, above all, an instinctive feeling of affinity and deep connection, as if all my expectations and unspoken wishes had already been understood and taken to heart.
As a matter of fact, thanks to Ronald, Maxine and Josephine (who were always available, friendly, supportive, and extremely professional), all my expectations and wishes were far exceeded. My husband Fabrizio and I experienced a truly unforgettable 14-day journey, discovering not only the extraordinary nature and biodiversity of Uganda, but also its beating heart and soul. And we had Edwin (Eddie) with us, who proved to be so much more than just a driver and a guide! He’s a master in spotting animals, a true expert in reading the wildlife behavior, an always caring and fun person, even a Luganda/Rukiga teacher! Right from the first moment, he became a companion in adventure and laughter, a friend, a family member.
Our itinerary took us to Mabamba Swamp, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, and to the national parks of Murchison Falls, Kibale, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Mgahinga Gorilla, and Lake Mburo.
We spotted the Shoebill at Mabamba Swamp, rhinos at Ziwa Rhino, and all the remaining Big Four at Murchison Falls, where we were immersed in stunning landscapes filled with countless giraffes, antelopes, monkeys, hippos, and birds. We observed chimpanzees up close in Kibale—and thanks to Eddie's strategic planning, it was just the two of us and the rangers! We met Frances and the Bigodi community through captivating nature walks, birdwatching, and community tours. We even encountered bushbabies, owls, and a green bush viper during a thrilling night walk in Bigodi.
We witnessed amazing interactions between hyenas and elephants in Queen Elizabeth and admired the rich, diverse river ecosystem of the Kazinga Channel. We learned about the Kyambura Lion Monitoring Project and the challenges of wildlife conservation thanks to Bosco and Winnie from the Volcanoes Safaris Partnership Trust. We drove through beautiful tea plantations and winding mountain roads, and we spent four unforgettable hours with the Bikingi family during the gorilla habituation experience in Bwindi (a huge thanks to the entire Kajie Safaris team for securing two spots for us less than a month before the trip!).
In Mgahinga, we walked with golden monkeys and the three giant silverbacks of the Nyakagezi family. At Lake Mburo, we went horseback riding among zebras and impalas and walked through the savannah alongside giraffes (once again, thanks to Kajie Safaris' fantastic flexibility, which allowed for a last-minute change of plans).
We enjoyed local food, strolled through the colorful markets of Kabale, and were deeply moved by the waves from the children and the warm smiles of the people we met everywhere—memories we will carry in our hearts forever.
Uganda is a truly wonderful country… It is hard to find the words to express how deeply this trip touched us, and how lucky and grateful we feel to have experienced it. Mwebale Kajie Safaris! Webale munonga Eddie! May our paths cross again…

Amazing Tour in Beautiful Uganda
We had an absolutely wonderful 7-day safari with Kajie Safaris and our guide, Johnson. From start to finish, everything was perfect.
Even before the trip, communication and organization were easy and smooth. Throughout the safari, Johnson was always punctual, kind, professional, and attentive. He went above and beyond to make sure we could see everything we hoped for and have the best possible experience.
The lodges we stayed at were lovely, and the food at the lodges and at the restaurants on our ways was excellent. We were also extremely lucky during our chimpanzee and gorilla trekking experiences and on safari.
We absolutely loved Uganda and had so many unforgettable experiences. We are already looking forward to coming back!
We would highly recommend Kajie Safaris and our wonderful guide, Johnson, to anyone planning a trip to Uganda. Thank you for an incredible journey!

Kajie Safaris truly guarantees a safari like no other.
We spent 10 intense days in Uganda, looked after and pampered as if we were family, thanks to the impeccable organization of Ronald and the Kajie agency—and, above all, our superb guide, Brian. We returned today from the 10-day tour of Uganda organized by Kajie Safaris, and I have no words to describe the wonders we experienced. Uganda is an incredible country—truly the pearl of Africa, a hidden gem, a real discovery. The experience was made even more enjoyable by the agency's flawless organization, ensuring we made the most of these 10 days and filled them with wonderful memories. But above all, we must thank the person who was by our side throughout the trip, truly pampering us like family with professionalism, great warmth, and practicality, enabling us to get the absolute best out of this long-awaited vacation. We highly recommend Kajie—and Brian, a guide like no other!
We will miss you.
